    Thank you all, Forkers ❤.

In order to balance things out OH is now out of action because of backache. You have to laugh really.
Anyway, the air in the household is somewhat lighter and I finally could tell all to the sons.
Weather is grey but warmish. I predict a quiet Sunday, boring is good.

    Have a good Sunday.

    Good morning all!

Catching up on your news after having been away for just one night.  Lots of chatter!!

@coccinella  Hooray!  and Congratulations!  on your results.  What a relief and sadly yes, there are others that aren't so lucky.
@Busy-Lizzie same to you - glad the doctor was able to diagnose diverticulitis.  I had something similar last October but nothing has come of it since.  It came as it went.

I watched some of the coronation in french.  Not the same.  But the pageantry and pomp is soooo British.    I must say that the parties that I have been to here hosted by Brits have been nothing but fun.  Talk about a good knees up and a good laugh!

Yes, the French laugh about the Royal Family, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they would like one of their own.  They love pomp and circumstance, too.  And they keep a curious eye on their comings and goings.

Going to be a spring day today.  Fine this morning with (welcome) showers this afternoon.

    Have a pleasant Sunday everyone!!

Morning all, thankfully it has stopped raining and the sun is out so I'd better get going.

Forgot to mention yesterday that I was so amused to see that the Queen had her two  rescue pooches embroidered in gold thread at the bottom of her gown as well as the names of her children and grandchildren amongst the floral embroidery making the dress so personal to her. She'll never wear it again and I presume it will go on display in a museum at some stage.

I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing Camilla referred to as the Queen.

Back from Clay Club and housework to do.  Plus more pricking out while it is still sunny so, a fleeting visit...

Well, we did have Elizabeth for more than 70 years before that, and her mother was Elizabeth beforehand. That's a total of 86 years.

    Afternoon everyone.

I’m making the most of a sunny day here and ticking off garden jobs. My tomatoes have been a bit of fail this year - very slow to germinate so only just producing leaves, some still just seed leaves. I will give them a chance but thought I’d buy some small plants in case. I couldn’t find any ‘bush/container’ ones and little choice overall so I bought one Picolo type as a back-up. Shame as I like to give away most of my tomato plants, I only really grow them for fun.

I hope everyone is having a decent Sunday.

    Evening all,

Super busy day here, 2nd busiest this year, and the other one was Valentine's Day and we served until 9:30, closed at 6pm today, so definitely a record breaker. We were serving a Coronation Lunch which was popular, bit also there was a large religious procession in town, 5000 visitors came to see it apparently, and certainly felt like many of them came to see us too. 😱 All went well though, just a very long day. Glass of rosé in hand now, and I'll just about manage to eat a leftover Scotch Egg for supper.

Have a good evening all, cheers. 🥂

We stayed with Son 2 and family for Sunday lunch. They enjoyed the ballet last night and I enjoyed my grandchildren. This morning I went to the SM with Son so we had a good chat in the car and on the way back we stopped at a GC and he bought me some more perennials.

Just come back from Champagne and nibbles party with friends to toast King Charles.

Sounds like a very lovely weekend @Busy-Lizzie!

Golly @D0rdogne_Damsel, you don't do things by half do you! Very good for the bank balance though. Enjoy your wine, you thoroughly deserve it.

Just booked a night in Paris with Charlie, when he gets back from Berlin, we're doing the Eiffel Tower Tour and Musée d'Orsay, today might just about cover it. 😱
