    Morning all.
    Heating oil ordered, " 7 working days " hey ho.
    At least the sun is shining today so hopefully the house will warm up a bit.
    Waiting for the engineer now to come and look at the freezer.

    Hi @punkdoc … can I name drop? Yesterday I forwarded a Guardian article on Crosby, Stills & Nash to my son … ‘interesting’ he said … ‘I’ll forward it to my friend O … he’s touring with Graham Nash … that’s why he’s not popped in for a couple of weeks’. 😎

    Good morning everyone,  Good news @Pat E I hope everyone else with travails have better news soon too.
    Another one gone Gordon Lightfoot RIP.
    @Dovefromabove, I  know you're very busy but on R4 this morning they are talking about cinema screening of the recent Vermeer exhibition.  Apparently it's getting a wider circulation and has been a sell out everywhere it has been shown.  Might be worth you checking if it's to be shown near you. I know you would enjoy it.

    Cheers! @Allotment Boy … I’ll take a look. The show has had some great reviews.

    Good morning Forkers,

    it's grey but we have been promised some sun. This afternoon I am going to the cinema to see "Emily"; all fiction I know but a "trip" to the moors will do me good. I have seen the Vermeer advertised, I will pay attention to the trailers today.

    Upsetting to see the fire at Southwold :( fortunately nobody got hurt.

    @Dovefromabove has Rob ever been involved with Cambridge Folk Festival? Nash was there a few years ago, didn't know he was touring again.
    @Hostafan1 :( hope it will be sorted in the times they say it will.
    @punkdoc: hello back!

    Morning all. I'm having the opposite problem to Hosta today - our fridge has decided to freeze everything. OH is having some unexpectedly frozen yoghurt for breakfast - other stuff may have to be binned. Thermostat is presumably on the blink, but can I get spares? No chance

    The fire at Southwold was a bit worse than I thought - saw this on the BBC website:

    You must be looking forward to getting home @Busy-Lizzie - and to warmer weather than we have.  Nice and bright earlier but clouding over now.

    So sad that Rob is missing CFF this year @Dovefromabove.  Does he ever do Folk East?  Lots of my friends go to that one but I have never been. (OH wouldn't be up to it).
