We’re watching the Coronation stuff too.  It’s still early intro chit chat. Seeing a conductor waving his arms (and head) waving in time to Bach. 🤭

  • If they show close up shots of the crowds, I'm hoping to see my OH - she having left so early this morning to catch the train to London.
She was there for the Diamond Jubilee, up the Mall, close to Buckingham Palace. She treasures the photos she got of the Queen and family on the balcony.
    I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Morning everyone,  it started fine but dull here, now it's wet. Don't know how it is in Central London at the moment but doesn't bode well.  We have family coming for lunch, nothing to do with coronation directly.  We usually get together at BH weekends but they were all away at Easter.  Lamb,  which we bought when half price in Sainsbugs,  and had in the freezer till yesterday.

Watching the Coronation. Thoroughly enjoying it.
OH has sung lots of the music with his choir. Zadok the Priest has just been sung.

I've gone and twisted my knee, hurts. It's the one I've twisted before. Nuisance for babysitting. Bother.

    Ouch @Busy-Lizzie … rest it!!!
Maybe a knee brace would help?
(speaking as someone with a dodgy knee).

I’m loving the music too … I’ve also sung some of it in the distant past.

Edited to add: Not keen on the Lloyd Webber piece, but loved that little bit of ‘Gospel’ earlier 😊

    Hello Forkers

Last week's body scintigraphy detected NO metastases!!!! Nothing. Zilch. Nada. Rien. Kein. Niente.  I got the news yesterday but couldn't concentrate on anything. I am so very relieved and humbled at the same time. I keep thinking about others who were there for the same thing. If I close my eyes I can see them sitting in the waiting room. People younger than me.

I wish you all a lovely weekend  and that all your aches and pains  vanish.
I am genuinely thrilled for you  <3
