    Morning all.

I hope it goes well for you at the hospital @Ergates and we look forward to hearing from you afterwards.

I slept well, think knee is improving. It should be a fine day and the vegetable garden badly needs attention.

Morning all. Managed to get a day's gardening in yesterday - filled a new raised bed, sowed some seeds in it, cut the grass paths, cut back the sweet cicely that had spilled onto the steps (it grows like a weed here, but it's lovely so I mostly let it), had a cup of tea on my excavated patio. Raining again to day though, so back to sowing and a bit of online volunteering.

Glad people had a good time this weekend, and that it all went off without a major incident. I do worry about the rather heavy policing but then, had there been a terrorist incident with all those people there...doesn't bear thinking about.

I agree @raisingirl … how easy would it have been for terrorists to have disguised themselves as environmental protestors or anti-monarchists or whatever!  The carnage could’ve been horrendous.
The police have got many things wrong over the years, but in this case it was more that they were damned if they did do something and dammed if they didn’t.

    Hi all

Very wet here, so no guilt about staying in bed.

Morning all, cloudy and dry but cool here and the forecast is for rain for the rest of the week! I need to dig out the garlic today before it gets anymore saturated from the recent rains, of which we have had more than we've had all winter.
We watched the Coronation and enjoyed it, we are on the edge of the beam for BBC broadcasting so our signal can be weak made even worse now they have played about with their HD/SD channels. Thinking of you @Ergates

We can't get our usual East of England BBC Channel anymore @floralies, but we can get BBC South East.

The promised sun hasn't arrived yet.

    Hope all goes well @Ergates.

It has been wet again but fortunately dried up enough after lunch for me to do a volunteer
Litter pick along our road as my contribution for today. Pleased I only collected less than half a bin bag. I also found this on the path which I think is from the nearby Wollemi Pine,, planted quite a few years ago. The tree looked stunning.

Best wishes @ Ergates, hope all goes OK.
