Morning all.  No foggy mist this morning for a change. 👏

Wednesday is town day for us, so we’re off to get food, clear the mail box and pick up the weekly local paper, etc.  I might as well pickup another prescription from the pharmacy while I’m at it. 🙄  Shopping at Aldi is the highlight of the week - I’ve discovered their frozen packs of spaghetti and meatballs. Yum! Quick and easy.

    better get going.

So Aldi is in Australia too. We have one I can walk to where we buy excellent bread. Have a good shopping day PatE.

I am so sorry @D0rdogne_Damsel. I am keeping fingers crossed you to get these keys very soon. Courage!

@Yviestevie I don't know if not having had chicken pox makes it more likely to have worse shingle symptoms. My friend hasn't had it and has been ill for months. He regrets not doing the vaccine. I don't qualify yet but OH does (over 65 here).

@chicky yes that’s the one, it’s a small world :) I am hoping to come to the next one in June, so hopefully I will see you there!

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
10C and pleasant outside … blue sky with some light clouds.

I hope all have had a restful night, and that injuries and illnesses are improving.

Im trying not to look at the garden … it’s in desperate need of a firm hand … talk about misbehaving while my back’s been turned 😆… Wonky says she’ll come and do some soon but I know she’s so busy … all the gardeners are at the moment .., I’ve rung a couple of local ones but they have no time at all.  It looks as if we’re embracing re-wilding very enthusiastically here 🤣

    Morning all.

I'm a bit stiff again today, several hours in the vegetable garden yesterday, just the raspberries to weed but they are full of creeping buttercup and thistles.

I did more weeding, sowing and planting in the vegetable garden yesterday. No gardening today as Daughter 1 and family are coming to stay a night tomorrow. They have only been here twice in 2 years, both times in January, last time in 2022.

I'm taking OH to the dentist, who is Son 2, this afternoon. He's going to have 4 implants. I'll go to the local SM, Leclerc, while he's with Son.

    Morning all,

Sunny here, but still a cold wind, very annoying.

Charlie back from school tonight as it is a Bank Holiday here tomorrow, and because it's on a Thursday the school also closes on Friday too,  a "pont" day, or bridge to the week-end.... works out well some years for many workers.

I have to work but in the evenings I will have dinner with him at his dad's house, to try and keep things calm. If it gets really difficult, Charlie can come and stay at the restaurant, just a bit tight on space. We'll see.

Morning all. Glad you are you are feeling better @punkdoc, my thoughts are with you @D0rdogne_Damsel and Charlie at this difficult time. Hope your shopping trip goes smoothly @Pat E and you dont get too tired. Thanks again for the lovely pictures. The rest of you lovely folks seem to be very busy so I hope the weather allows you to keep doing whatever you need outside in your gardens.
Yesterday I managed to get - via a quad - down across our fields to see the bluebells. The fragrance was over powering and the blue colour really dark - some years the colour seems a little pale. Forgot my phone so daughter took pictures for me and when I work out how to get them from her to me to here I will post some for you.
Unfortunately on our way back I failed to properly duck under some overhanging trees and got swiped across my left eye by a branch. Now got a black eye, puffy lower lid and some scratches. Bit sore yesterday but ok today as long as I dont forget and rub it. Told everyone that daughter punched me!
