I did wonder why I didn't see @WonkyWomble around much. Too busy being a kind daughter!
    Have a good time @Dovefromabove

Weather is nice, done some gardening yesterday and tomorrow will do some more.

So sorry to hear of your daughter's depression @Lizzie27.  My husband was diagnosed with bipolar some years ago, and once he got the diagnosis and onto the right medication he has been stable. But before that, when in a depressed state, I found there was nothing I could do to help him beyond just being there and as supportive as I could.  You have my sympathies as it's not something that anyone wants to see someone else going through.

Wow - Jill Biden reaching out to Rob.  That's something isn't it?  Surprised her email address is a gmail one though.  You'd think it would at least be @thewhitehouse!  But - in the real world - how wonderful of Wonky to treat you!  Hope the 'gardener' can do a bit more.

Still on paperwork but a gardening day planned for tomorrow.  In the meantime, I am enjoying the irises which are smelling absolutely gorgeous.  We went to a talk on wildflowers last evening (did you know if you put agrimony under your husband's pillow he will sleep the sleep of the dead?  The bad news is - it's hard to find!) and we were hit with the scent as soon as we walked back in through the front gate.

Good afternoon everyone,  bit of a funny day here. Very cloudy and grey but quite warm enough to have lunch sitting out on the patio.  I woke very early, 5ish I try not to look at the clock,  struggled to get bad to sleep but then slept in and woke with that horrorible muzzy feeling you get when you wake suddenly from a deep sleep.  Been pottering in garden but still don't feel quite right 😕.
    Enjoy your treat @Dovefromabove
    Hope everyone else is fine

Agrimony is one of my favourite wildflowers @didyw  … as children we called it Steeples …  apparently there’s a Norfolk variation called Fragrant Agrimony … but I’ve never knowingly seen it.

Afternoon all,  Been a funny day weatherwise.  Bit of rain, bit of sun.  This afternoon saw the best of it and I've managed to pot on the rest of the seedlings, get the grow bag ready for the courgettes and clear some of the duck weed out of the pond.  Looks like we are getting some better weather in the coming week so I'm hoping to get some of the annuals in the garden and finish the pots.
Hope you enjoy your break @Dovefromabove Hugs to @WonkyWomble for being such a good daughter.

    Good morning Forkers
Woken up early as usual and the recent podcasts of Gardeners' question time (in NI) were too interesting to send me back to sleep.
Today I have engaged son to strip a bed of neglected periwinkle they will come back, but hopefully better. NDN has given me chicken manure to spread over them.
OH has been roped to help with the annual ING marathon, I might spot him on the telly!
    Have a good day all.
