Happy Birthday @punkdoc enjoy your day.
Shopping for me today before another storm and torrential rain arrives. The garden looks a mess after the rain, parts of it flooded.
    Catch up later.

    Morning all.

    Happy Birthday @punkdoc

We didn't get the storm @floralies and the forecast rain has been cancelled. Looks like a gardening day.

Good morning everyone. Happy birthday @punkdoc and many thanks for all the birthday wishes to Mrs AB.
We had a really lovely day yesterday for once everything went to plan ☺.
The weather was perfect for walking around, a little overcast but warm enough.  We then went to a nearby Italian restaurant before going home .
The gardens were looking good, many areas quite in advance of us even though we are not that far away.  Luckily the Rhododendrons were still mostly looking good, but in some more open areas things like camelia were fully out , and some rose beds too. I  didn't take many pictures.  I tend to find you can either look or take pictures,  and in bright light I find it difficult to see what's on screen.
    So just a few pics.

    Good morning all,

Happy birthday @punkdoc, a nice glass or wine (or two) might make you feel a bit better, medicinal of course. 🍷

How lovely to visit all those beautiful gardens. I remember Snowshill from years ago being very eclectic.

There are gardens near me here, but they're just not the same, very formal. Can't beat an English country garden.

Trying to remain positive and optimistic about my new house, but awfully frustrating having to wait so long. I've got things in online baskets everywhere, just waiting to click the button to buy once I've got somewhere to put them.

Someone on here mentioned it ages ago, a Russell Hobbs Hive kettle, I love it, I've got one for work and now have that and the matching toaster in an online basket, as well as a set of bookshelves and a TV stand on another site. Got my eye on a lovely little shed come greenhouse too, although I think I'll get someone to build it for me.... Oh I'm so keen to get going.

Have a good day all,  hope the sun stays shining for all.

Happy birthday, Punkdoc! OH’s is tomorrow, trying to plan a special meal but he claims everything I cook is his favourite, so hard to find something he’d really enjoy that he doesn’t already get fed to him! Not a drinker either, but I will have an extra glass of something on his behalf!
Todays plan is to spend as much time as I can in the garden. Very slowly and a little at a time might work if I’m careful. Really need to bite the bullet and get some garden help organised, but don’t know where to start. Have so rarely got people in to do stuff, and not been wildly impressed when we have, so we’ve ended up doing nearly everything ourselves.
