I’ve been moving firewood from one trailer to the other so that we can get another load this afternoon into the empty one. My pulse got a bit fast and I was dizzy , so I finished up and went inside for a while until it settled down. Then Hubby came up to the house after sharpening the chainsaws and decided to vacuum the air conditioning units in our bedroom and the living room, so, maybe we won’t be cutting more firewood this afternoon after all and besides it’s clouding over. 🙄
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ @Pat E … take things a bit easier for a bit! 🛋 📚 🫖 🍪 7C and a cloudless blue sky here in Norfolk ☀️ Hope @punkdoc is feeling a bit better today.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
If it doesn't rain I'll be in the vegetable garden again. I want to get everything planted and sown. I hope it all survives when we go back to Norfolk in June. CB the handy man was pretty good at watering last year.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Well, We did get another load of wood. I actually really enjoy going out the back and helping, so mentally it’s good for me even if I’m still a bit worn out physically now.
Morning all, bright chilly start here too. Great pictures as always @Pat E. Hoping @punkdoc is feeling better too, I'm not certain about this but I believe the latest booster is a different formulation, and make. I think quite a lot of people are getting reactions this time.
I haven't posted for a couple of days. Lots to do. Today is chilly again, when is this weather going to settle? Mind you I don't want high temps and drought either!
I am sorry @punkdoc is feeling rough after the vaccination. I've had 4 (plus Covid), the last one was in December, when I asked the doctor if I needed another he said "not for the moment".
Has any one of you had the shingles one? A friend has been really ill recently and he recommends that we have one.
On a sunnier note the garden is looking pretty. About time. I still have to buy some basil and also petunias plugs to fill little gaps in containers. Then I think it is all for this year.
Ah, almost forgot: the water butt is in place and I could here it filling during the night 😖 more company for sleepless nights.

Thank you, the vaccine side effects seem to be gone, just back to all my normal moans and groans.
