Morning all. Waiting for the thick morning mist to clear before venturing outside. Feels a bit chilly as well when I opened the door for the dogs earlier. More tea needed I think.

Morning all, yes thanks @chicky, Malvern was great fun but very tiring. Stayed the night before with my friend as we had an early start and OH needed our car.  Long, long queue for the coach to get in though, new traffic lights on a minor junction. Quite chilly and overcast when we got there but at lunchtime quite suddenly got hot and sunny. Glorious. Came home with a Daniel Deronda clematis, a Rhodanthemum, Hot Lips Salvia gift for my beautician as she'd lost hers over the winter and a few sundries. Quite restrained actually. Missed seeing any rose displays unfortunately, not sure how. Very taken with the RHS Lounge though, quiet and cool with proper china for tea!

OH came and picked me up at friend's house and we stopped off at a pub for dinner as I was too exhausted to cook and my back was screaming by then. Going to take it easy today.

Hope @KT53 enjoyed his Malvern trip on Friday.

Glad you're feeling better @Ergates and that you had a lovely day with Wonky @Dovefromabove.

Hope the Garden Festival goes well @didyw, @Busy-Lizzie's looked delightful.

Alpaca walking in the Brecon Beacons sounds great fun @AuntyRach, glad you enjoy it.

Trust the slugs didn't decimate your brassicas overnight @Allotment Boy

Good evening,  just in from the garden.  The day started cold and grey again but the sun came through around 11am. More potting and general tidying.
@Lyn as you may tell I didn't go to plots so fingers crossed the slugs stuck to their "special" food , & not the new plants.

My favourite David Austin rose, Blue for You is out, is an absolute stunner, and just blooms and blooms right until the end of October.

And, I think Charlie found a 'girlfriend' at the fair. Ophelia, a classmate from his old school, he's very smitten.... Been in constant contact by text ever since he met her yesterday morning. They even sheltered in the rain together under an archway for an hour rather than come home to a warm dry house..... Bless him.

Just realised I haven't posted today.
I've been gardening for most of the day. Planted most of the plants I bought, weeded in the vegetable garden, finished weeding the round rose bed and planted the 3rd pink rose. Really tired now, going to bed.

    Morning all

Gosh @Pat E, only 14C in your sitting room! Don't you have any heating in there?

    I'm a bit stiff after yesterday's gardening.

I'm taking my car to have the winter tyre changed back to summer ones this morning.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
A dry day here 9C so far and a good breeze to dry the washing …
    Hope you’re a bit warmer now @Pat E
