Rosie, what a great day out you've had, sounds lovely with some extra delicious treats to eat. Marvellous. No wonder you're tired but a " nice " tired. Have a good evening.
Thanks LB, you, too, have a good evening. Think I'll sign out too for today. See you later folks.

    Morning all.
It's my turn to be up early today! This is actually the second time I have woken up and come downstairs for a cuppa. Just can't sleep.
Winds got up here last evening, howling and we also had lashing rain. Some garden furniture was overturned and a coldframe lid had slammed shut.😬 It was just like the middle of winter again.
Hope it all quietens down by the morning.

A very good morning Hazel and all to arrive later. I hope that Hazel has managed to get back to sleep. I had a knock on the door late last night - my neighbour telling me that her bins had blown into the courtesy car - eek! I shall have a good look this morning as it was too dark last night to see anything as the side of the car is opposite to my security light. That will be all I need. It is very quiet this morning thank goodness,

Good morning Ruby. I've been out and inspected the car and there are no signs of any damage at all. Phew! I picked up some rubbish from my front garden but whilst I was out there - despite a bit of sunshine - it is absolutely Baltic! I was glad to get back into my warm house. I have had an email informing me that my bird food will be delivered today. Time to hug a mug.

Good morning Hazel, LB, Rubee and all to follow.

Hazel, sorry to hear that you had sleepless night. Hope you are now back to the bed. High wind at night is not pleasant at all.

LB, I'm glad that there is no damage on courtesy car.

Sunny, but windy and cold morning. As Hazel said before, it's more like winter morning. My lovely flowers are all battered from the wind. Pets are all fed and back to sleep again, and I can have my tea.

Wish you all nice day, and hope that weather will improve.

Good morning Ante. I've just had a walk up to the post box at the end of the lane. The cold certainly made me walk faster than usual.
Your weather sounds like mine Ante. Hope that you have a super day too.

Good morning all. Sunny here but rain forecast later today. Stressful day here yesterday as van was playing up, power steering  very erratic and as that’s what was supposedly fixed at great expense we had to take it back to original garage. Then got fiancés mom to drive us home kind of her but a little of her goes a long way I find. Hoping it’s a minor problem and van gets back today.
Fiancé still working too many hours and very tired but determined to give it a fair chance and stay until his birthday in May.
I am back to work today I can’t imagine there are any people left to serve after last week.

Good morning Debs. That is disappointing - and annoying - news about the van. It won't fill either of you with any confidence until you get it back properly fixed. You could have a fair few people possibly worried about the Doctors' strike wanting advice from you. I am so sorry that the job your fiancé took on is proving to be so demanding of his time. We are not that far off May now so is he actually looking around for other openings?

@Ladybird4 he has several places he has worked in the past who would welcome him back happily I am afraid good chefs are in very short supply so he would have a week off then there will be no problem getting work. This job looked perfect but it’s short staffed and he cannot work 60-70 hours a week at his age. He is permanently exhausted.
Clouding over here I think today will be another yesterday weather wise although the weekend is looking better and next week positively balmy.
