Evening all. LB, you've been busy and planting out some really lovely plants. Good luck with the raspberry bush. I, too, love raspberries but I bet the home grown ones taste much better than the bought ones. What clematis have you planted? Our Montana is on its last legs I think, leaves have suddenly dropped and withered up. We bought a passion flower to replace it but have just potted the passion flower up into a larger pot for now and will give the Montana the summer for a third/fourth chance! Busy, I'm so sorry to hear about your tummy problems and the issues you're having trying to get to see someone let alone get a diagnosis. I can totally sympathise given the trouble Ive recently had . It's quite soul destroying. I hope you can get through the weekend and fingers crossed for Monday for you. Its been a lovely day here so OH potted on his cosmos seedlings, I've done some of the Verbena Bonsar... and planted out a home grown Royal Bumble salvia and a ( shop bought) coreopsis. Things are suddenly making growth in the garden which is lovely to see. Topbird, hope you have an enjoyable break next week and here's hoping everything goes smoothly for you.
Hazel, the three clemmies I planted were Kardynal Wyszinski, Clematis x triternata Rubro marginata and Miss Bateman. I have another few to plant out yet. As Rosie said, your garden will be very colourful this year.
I am signing out for tonight. See you all in the morning. One for T'Bird:

LB, we had Miss Bateman at our old house and it flowered well, quite a decent size flower too. The Kardynal one looks similar to the Hagley Hybrid ( hope yours flowers as long as prolifically as the HH) and the last one ( triternata) reminds me of a Honka Dahlia! Lovely and so unusual. Signing out too for now. Night all.
LB, I'm back to the school tomorrow. Don't like it too much, but there is no so many days before summer holidays. Little bit less than two months.
It's awful, winter morning, with rain, wind and quite cold. It's snowing up in the hills, so all my plans for early planting are off. I heard on tv last night that this is the coldest Spring in last 15 years, and I can feel it. Well, it will be another day for indoor chores, and preparation for tomorrow.
Wish you all nice Sunday, and spend it in the garden if you can.
Morning everyone, So sorry to post this so early in the day. But my Michael died early Wednesday morning. It was very sudden and quick. He didn't suffer and wasn't in any pain. Good for him, but absolutely heart breaking for me.
So sorry to hear your news @star gaze lilyplease know that I am thinking of you and the family and sending big hugs. I hope it is some small comfort to know that the end was painless.
Dear SGL, I am so very sorry to hear that most dreadful news. May you find strength in the love of your family and your 'virtual family' here on Rez. Sending you much love. x

I'm so sorry to hear so sad news. My sincere condolences. It's comforting to hear that he didn't suffer on the end.
