Busy, Jack's daughter is here in England.
Hazel, Bestie is still coming to terms with her loss. I still worry that she is trying to do too much too soon. I know that she wants everything sorted out asap but things do take time. One serious hiccup though is that the solicitor handling everything has gone bust and last week she was waiting to be informed of who will be taking over the business. It seems that nothing goes smoothly at the moment. Enjoy Magpie Murders. Its good.

    Good morning all.

It's already Wednesday, and weather didn't improved. It's still grey, and I can see by wet floor that it rained last night. My trip to cottage is postponed for tomorrow. Pets are all fed and it's time for cup of tea.

Wish you all nice and sunny day , and see you later.

A very good morning Ante and all later arrivals.
I am glad that I managed to get my tomato seedlings pricked out yesterday - I've done some for Jack as well - with going out for lunch today time will just gallop away and they were ready for moving on. Its a bit windy here Ante but it may turn out nice.

Good morning all. I was up at 5am seeing fiancé back off to work and then went back to bed and slept until 9! A long day in the garden yesterday but we got loads done, sunny but still so windy here which kept the temperatures down. No real weather this morning as yet.
Got today off so will finish reorganising the patio. I have an old table I have revamped and planning to put pots on there in the style of Monty Don, too late for spring bulbs but some pretty annuals and small scented plants could work

Morning everyone. A better nights sleep here so feeling more like it this morning. Haven't been outside yet but it's windy and looks cold, so you're in good company Ante. I wish we could have some sustained warm days.
We are going out to the famous DIY store to get a couple of roosting pouches to make ( one) into a tiddly planter to attach to our feeding pole. OH quite fancies the idea and as the pole hasn't attracted any little birds yet( bigger birds do balancing acts on the feeders to get to the food) we thought we'd brighten it up a bit. We plan to slice the top off the pouch and just put one ( maybe two) trailing plants in.
Good on you Rubee for cleaning out your pond, bet that wasn't easy. Hope, you;get it finished today.
Must dash now, was late up this morning.

@Songbird-2 we popped there yesterday to pick up cement and some really good growbags they had lots of trays of annuals half price, woman on till said they were clearing the decks for another delivery. Obviously I had to buy half a dozen packs I do love a bargain!
    You have been warned!
  • Hazel also have bigger birds doing a balancing act to get to the food.  LB I hope things start to run more smoothly for your bestie.  Hazel all’s feel better for a good nights sleep.  Bright sunshine I’ve been out in the garden with mums smallest but most talkative cat.   I ordered a dress in error I left the tablet open on the bed for a moment and a furry friend ordered the dress by paw.  Hazel I was up late too.  Debs enjoy planting your hoard.  LB hope Lily is enjoying a sunny spot in the garden and you enjoy your outing.  My friend is going abroad for a break soon and then we’ll catch up again in June.  Apparently we’re scheduled snow before a mini heatwave.  Enjoy the sunshine.  Ante hope you and your pets are doing well.

Debs, you were right🤦‍♀️ Went in for one thing x2, came out with 1 of said things, nuts, small seed trays with lids, a medium sized hanging planter, three geraniums and two small plug plants, oh and a lovely Scabiosa😬😬🫢I said to OH that we don't need anymore plants now...but it's me that keeps buying them, gawd! This afternoon we dropped in at the big *esco and came out with a tin hanging planter ( smaller) plus plant and a clematis Montana! OH looked skywards at latter buy but I just can't help it🤫🫣 ( I think the "old" one has had it and I do  like them) All planted up bar two which will be done another day.
OH has cut the front garden lawn, I've sprinkled some spare lawn sand I found in shed, planted up/out some new plants and now taking a rest.
OH is up early in the morning to pick son up to drive him down to garage to pick up his car. It's passed its MOT test but needed a repair. All sorted now though.
23 is coming down on Friday after school and having a sleepover. He's been nagging son to come for a sleepover for weeks🤭 We have plenty ready for him to do.... His Plant a Name plant has finally shed its two leaves which had a star on one and his name on the other. It doesn't seem to be doing much now, growing seems to have stopped, so we'll see what happens for a while before deciding what to do with it.
