  • Morning all.  Lily I’ve been awake since silly o’clock too.  Hope you have a snooze during the day and catch up on some sleep.  I did the clocks last night, luckily it wasn’t everywhere.  Wishing you all a good day.

Good morning Biglad, SGL, Debs and Ruby. Love the rainy tulip picture Biglad. Yes, Debs, I was awake at 04:00 this morning and it was still dark! I hope that my biological clock gets itself sorted soon. Today has to be a garden day for me or I'll go mad. Everywhere I look there are jobs needing my attention.

I know that feeling @Ladybird4 which was why yesterday was so lovely it’s a juggling act when I only really have weekends to garden and so must pray for sunny Saturdays and Sundays! I do hate going to work on a day when I could be in the garden.
Graham is pretty lively and has started to eat. I think he wants to be out in the garden too.

Thanks @star gaze lily - I'll be even busier today. It's looking like a glorious day for gardening but I'll be plodding the streets delivering more poll cards. If anybody is ready, willing and able, I highly recommend it. Exploring all the local nooks and crannies that you'd never ordinarily see. Also, it allows me to have a good nosy at all the gardens! The added bonus is that I'm getting paid :D Hoping to get another 700 delivered before England v Ukraine kicks off at 5.

Morning all. It's coming out lovely here after a dreary dark start to the day.I made the same mistake last night as I did  last year....put the electric clock on an hour, got up at what showed as 9am, checked another clock, found it was 8 o clock,( which was really 7 o clock) so am all to pot with myself now.😬 Have finally put an alert on my phone to remind me not to put that clock forward( it does it itself) but to put the landline phone clock forward/backwards. It's lazy and doesn't do it itself.
We are off to mums tomorrow for an overnight stay so probably won't be around for a few days. Not looking forward to the long drive and am just praying all pains etc and OH's knees hold up, it's been a while since we did such a long car drive.
Have a great day everyone , I'm hoping to get outside too.
    Grace tonight.

    Morning all.

We went to church which is at 9.30am so felt like 8.30am and we both slept badly. zzz

Gary, the handyman, is digging up the Malvern Hills rose. It shows no signs of life, gone brittle o I'm going to plant a box with new earth and compost and plant a new rose into it. Trip to Peter Beales tomorrow D If I decide to go for Malvern Hills again I will have to buy it elsewhere as it's by David Austin.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

There you go Hazel. Well they are very different. Have you seen them lit up yet?
@Biglad - count your blessings - it could be lashing down. Enjoy the match later. I'll bet Hazel and SGL's OHs will be riveted too.
Hazel, you sound to have had fun with your clock altering Have a safe trip tomorrow and I hope all is well with your Mum when you get there.

Haven't seen the mushrooms lit yet LB, might look odd ( but different) but no batteries needed so should be interesting. When up and running I'll post a picture. OH is getting his jobs done so he can settle down later to watch the footy👍

Afternoon all,  Glad you managed to get out the garden yesterday @debs64 it was a nice day.  I had the boys as Secondborn was at a recruitment event yesterday.  She's a teacher and one of her areas is recruiting new students for their teacher training scheme.  It's hopeless at the moment, no-one wants to train as a teacher.  There were some foreign students their but they didn't have the correct qualifications to enable them to join the training scheme.  I was hoping to get in the garden today but the weather has put me off.
Managed to get to the tip this morning to dump a load of junk from the cellar.  There's so much down there it'll take forever to clear it all out.
