Busy, what a lovely colourful display from all the flowers. You've got quite a haul there, happy planting. Rosie, good luck in your search for someone to help with the kitchen floor. It must be frustrating not to be able to hold of anyone just now. Does your mum or dad know anyone locally? Topbird, I always think that when the lawns are cut it compliments the rest of the garden. Β Think we need to do ours a bit more often now, they seem to be growing like mad. Ive planted out a dwarf erysimum this afternoon, potted on three dahlias and Β pruned and fed a Maidenhair vine.Β The hot flat thing has been used and am now ready for a rest.Β
Debs, you were right about the strength of Voltarol - the 'sco purchase is much more powerful. I think I'll stick with that one and just buy it when needed.
Rosie, I am very sorry that your plans are being thwarted at present. Perhaps you might have better luck next week. Fingers crossed.
Ruby, I hope that you find enough spaces for new pots for your clemmies. Your OH sounds as if he has our plant addiction!
Busy what lovely pictures! Cheered me up no end so thank you for sharing them. You have bought a lot of lovely plants too.
Hazel, you have been very busy too. Did you get to the recycling centre. I got an email today to tell me that the council are going to be working around the borough through May - July providing skips in each area for a couple of days so we can get rid of large items such as old furniture etc. for free. They are trying to cut down on fly tipping.
I have decided to miss out on the Elvis tribute concert this evening as there have been times today I have been unable to move because of the pain and the thought of sitting for any length of time is a stress I don't need. Moan over!
