LB, nightmare isn’t it? That’s as bad as my last experience and it really isn’t on. You could have ended up in hospital it’s a severe reaction. I do despair of what things are coming to now. All that walking won’t have helped either. Keep on going easy and gently as you have been doing. If it is muscular it can take quite a few weeks to settle. Can you take painkillers?
Rosie, well done for being on track doing the correct things to the wall my dad was a Master Builder and he always said to prime raw plaster before decorating. Good luck with that.
Busy, I’ve told myself that I mustn’t buy any more plants as our garden is full to bursting. What did you get? Plants over loo rolls any time👍😂
A local museum is showing an exhibition at the minute of some items/ articles etc retrieved from The Titanic. OH and I are going to go and see it- should be very interesting.
Hazel, it was a nightmare. When did they start just sending your prescription through to the pharmacy? The last time I was at the Doc's the prescription was printed out and handed to me to take along to the pharmacy. If that had happened today I could have spotted the mistake and had it corrected before I left the Doc's! You were right, all that walking to and fro did not help my back one bit. I am fine with Paracetamol Hazel. However, I will only take that as a last resort. I find that Voltarol (other muscle rubs available) is the best for me. Have you any sparrow hawks around? They soon suss out where small birds flock to feeders. They attack and kill in my garden occasionally.

Yes, I thought it may have been a sparrow hawk too LB, it's an unholy mess that I can hardly bear to look at. OH will be clearing that up.( Love the picture tonight😂👍). I don't know what's happened to the doctors surgeries nowadays, but it's a terrible set up now. And now the pharmacist's are going to be able to give out antibiotics - after all that bother I went through with a pharmacist instead of seeing a doctor. Signing out for now. Night all.
@Ladybird4 electronic prescriptions have been standard for a few years now but I agree it makes things difficult sometimes. Have you tried the double strength voltarol? Not easily available on prescription and not cheap but I swear by it for a bad back.
My sister has hyper mobility and uses turmeric daily although that’s more for joints it helps her back as does Pilates.
Off to Liverpool in a while hoping the traffic isn’t too bad.
Good morning everyone .Hazel sorry to read about the Blackbird ,so sad .Debs ,safe journey . Enjoy all the fun .Ante at least the rain gives you a time to rest and read ,enjoy your day . LB so sorry to read of the hassle you had over your script . Your poor back ,I hope it’s feeling better today .
Debs, thank you for the tip about Voltarol. I did buy some last week in 'sco so I will check the strengths and yes, it was expensive, but to be honest I am happy to pay that to help my back. I do take tumeric daily. You can probably tell that I don't go to the Doc's very often! You will love your Liverpool trip I'm sure.
I'm supposed to be going to an Elvis tribute show tonight but I will just weigh up how my back feels.

LB, sorry to hear that you had to walk twice from doctor to pharmacy. Hope the gel will help.
Hazel, wish you and OH nice time at museum. It will be very interesting to see some items from Titanic.
Debs, have a nice time in Liverpool.
I'll stay at home and rest and read. It's raining of course, so I can't do anything outside. Now is time for cup of tea.
