Morning all, Think I'm turning into @biglad😱 I didn't  go to bed until after 2.30am! My mind was in overdrive with a few family issues going on at the moment and I was coming up with all sorts of solutions. Gawd..... think  I did too much knitting last night as some of my fingers are swollen this morning and sore. If I ever have to give that up I don't  know what I'd do😥
Sorry to say but it's lovely and sunny here this morning. Have been out admiring t some new plants and have found a spot for one plant not yet planted.
Busy, when I had an appendicitis  all the pain was on the opposite side to the appendix. ie left side. I hope  it settles down for you.
Debs, glad you and your friend had an uplifting night. It will have done her the world of good and I  hope she felt a little better afterwards. So nice to relax with friends.
I got up late this morning so must go and get sorted.

Good afternoon all. In the end due to the rain I didn't go to Canasta today. I did some crafting instead. Still no signs of my roses, in fact no signs of ANY post today.
Hazel, it is so frustrating when your mind is filled with a myriad of thoughts and you cannot get off to sleep. I hope that you get a better sleep tonight.

    Quiet here today.

I went to the Pharmacy this morning. I've had IBS for over 20 years. Pharmacist said it is probably due to spasms, but I haven't had them before, though my daughters have. He said to try Buscopan before I go to the Doc.

We went to a GC and I bought Rosemary and Tarragon, 3 little alpines for the gravel slope and a Nepeta Purrsian Blue. No suitable hanging baskets to cover the nepeta with to keep the NDN's cat away. They were basket weave or expensive wrought iron. OH did his walking exercise while we were there which gave me a chance to have a good look at their newly arrived perennials.

Good evening . Wet and cold day here .I have been waiting for a parcel and some post which didn’t come.Busy I have had IBS for many years and occasionally I get cramps which are quite nasty . Buscopan is good . If you are concerned I would see the doc .Could be the stress you have suffered with all the delays of OHs op’ that has made your IBS worse .
I am learning to paint ,enjoying experimenting .Something to occupy my time when OH is not well enough to go out . A friend sent me several How To,books which are proving very useful.
Hazel and LB I find getting to sleep difficult. Recently I have been going through the alphabet in my head .I try to find at least three plant names for every letter .I am often asleep before I reach W .
signing out .Have a good evening folks .

Evening folks. Quiet here today. I’ve had a quietish  day just pottering  about after last night’s shenanigans but we did pop to SM for some bits I’d forgotten. It’s rained on and off all day but did manage to pull out three clumps of Shasta daisies which we’re looking rough. Found they had a lot of leatherjackets underneath them. Hope the birds enjoy their surprise tea! Gave the soil a good turn over and added some compost.
My Winky  Wooh aquilegia has spread again this year and already has flower stems and buds forming. Can’t wait for it to be in bloom again.
Got a letter from hospital specialist- he got my doctors name wrong and also referred to me, mid letter, as someone with a completely different name to mine! 🤷‍♀️Doesn’t even sound like my surname. Good job it was addressed correctly though. Rang hospital and got the errors corrected so no harm done.

Goodnight all. Rubee, I'm going to start going through the alphabet and naming three plants when I go to bed.

Hello everybody. I am off to 'sco shortly. Get that boring job out of the way.
Busy I hope that you are feeling better today and can get stuck into some gardening.
Ruby, I will have to try your 'how to get to sleep plan' - it sounds like fun. Makes a change to counting sheep.

    Morning all (from the CA),

Think I fell asleep towards the end of GW. Been awake since 2.30 and that'll be me up and about for the day now.

Busy full working week despite the 3-day/week contract - think I must've been AWOL on here for a few days as the time flies by.

Haven't done anything in the garden bar banging on the front room window if I see sheep loitering near the front garden and banging on the kitchen window if any cats are about to spray/puke/dump in the back :o

Weather looks glorious this morning so I'm aiming to achieve something out the back today (after I've disposed of all the fresh ****). Must attach the new latch for the shed that I've fashioned. The doors don't shut completely since the old one fell off, so I've had bags of compost leaning against them for ages to keep the gap as small as possible. It will be nice to not have to keep humping them around every time I want to go in the shed (assuming my latch-making skills are up to scratch ;))
