    Thank you @Yviestevie.

If I weren't the age I am I would wonder if I was going into labour.

  • A windy day we had a walk picked up some colourful violas from the sm and headed back for some lunch.  Bought some bounty chocolate bars for pud.  I saw a lady I used to work with approx 30 some years ago.  Made the bed and catching up on res.  It’s quite cold.

Good afternoon all. Oh my but it was busy this morning - non stop. I was absolutely shattered when I got home.
Like your weather Rosie, the wind was blowing a gale all the time and it was a distinctly chilly wind too. It must have been a pleasant surprise bumping into your ex colleague. I bet that those violas make a lovely splash of colour in the garden.
I am sorry to read that you have been a bit under the weather Busy. I hope that all your stomach pains have subsided now.
Ante, I am quite used to rain here so I can really sympathise with your being trapped indoors today. Have you finished reading The Silmarillion yet?

We've had a busy day too.  Chappie has been and given a reasonable quote for remaining windows so have decided to go ahead with it. Surveyor coming next week and will look at problem windows handle for me. The son dropped in before work which was nice.
Pits rained like mad this afternoon but now the sun has come out.  Catching up with latest adaption of Agatha Christie's  Why didn't thru ask Evans on TV. Very good, enjoying it.
LB, busy day for you too in miserable conditions, but well done for persevering with it.
Rosie, your plant purchase will make a lovely display and always lovely to have a catch up with old friends / work colleagues. almost enjoyable.
Busy, hope your tummy problems have eased today.

    Evening all.

LB, I finished with Silmarillion in few weeks after I bought a book. Tolkien is one of my favorite writers, and I love books and movies.

It seems that we all had a same weather today. Here is still raining, and it hasn't intention to stop. I'll have cup of tea, then sofa and tv.

Tummy still hurts but less often, had some soup.

We are watching Why Didn't They Ask Evans? too. It's pretty good.

Started knitting up one of the large balls of wool from mum. Going to make a big throw in Moss Stitch so should take me a while to complete it. It's coming out lovely  and soft so that will be a keeper too🙂
@rowlandscastle444, we've just finished watching the last episode too. No spoilers.
Signing off for now. Night all.

Hope @star gaze lily is going on okay. 👋
  • Good morning all yet to rise.  A chilly morning.  I’ve put a big fluffy jumper on over a dress.  I’ve had my first cup of tea and baked some seeded bread adding a little malt and butter.  It’s resting on the cooling tray.  I hope you slept.
