Good morning Rosie and all to follow.

Rosie, another lovely bread, sounds so delicious. I'll join you with cup of tea.

Here is still raining, and everything is soggy outside. It's obvious that I'll continue what I started yesterday, reading and watching tv. Now is time for cup of tea. Hope you all slept well.Β Β

Good morning all. Rain forecast here all day but I don’t mind too much as I had two gorgeous new rhododendron plants delivered yesterday and a good soaking will be good for them. It’s hard water here so I do struggle with rhododendrons but hoping to keep them healthy in big pots just need to buy the right compost.
Lovely meal with friends last night. Delicious food and a lot of laughter I think it helped my friend with the troubled son to talk and relax a bit with people not judging her, I think when a child goes off the rails it’s too easy to just blame the parents and of course she feels guilty. These things happen though and it’s not helpful.Β
Sounds like you all have plans for a busy Friday hope those feeling unwell soon feel better.Β

    Morning all.

I slept much better but I still have a very tender lower left tummy. If it were on the right I'd be thinking appendix.

I deadheaded the daffodils yesterday. I hope I'll feel fit enough to carry on with the weeding and edging today.

Good morning Debs. It must indeed be so difficult for your friend and her struggling son. I hope she finds comfort and strength in having friends like you around to distract her, for a short while, and offer constant support to her.

Good morning Busy. I do hope that the ache in your lower abdomen eases soon. It must be very wearing. I went out to put some rubbish in the bin and noticed - horror of horrors - that it has started to rain - again. I won't be going out to Canasta this afternoon if that is the case. I'll join Ante in reading I think.
