As long as they don't do any online shopping or fancy having a takeaway delivered at any time @Ladybird4 ;)

Yesterday I had one guy (let's call him The Occupier) come out and chase me up the street to bemoan the fact that he was being called The Occupier but "they are quick enough to send me a Council Tax bill". He then proudly announced that he'd "lived 50 years and never put a tick in a box". I didn't know where to start so laughed and walked off :o

I haven't taken full advantage of the weather today, but had a decent couple of hours in the garden. Lined a big planter (that's 2 fewer empty compost bags in the shed!) and put it's 3 legs on. Not sure what will be going in it. Planted a tayberry and then just weeding and tidying.

I was quite busy in the end LB, apart from sweeping the back patio I can't mention anything here, but it was in the kitchen.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I hope everyone enjoys their evenings. I am signing out for tonight. There is not a single thing on TV I want to watch so I am going off to read. See you all in the morning.

Hello all, half day at work today but it was quiet and then I painted some garden furniture and did some sweeping and tidying of the patio. Graham is loving this weather outside the last few days eating well and basking in the sunshine ☀️

Evening all. Like you, LB, we have got lots done in the garden today, lovely and warm too. Planted nearly all the new plants bar two. OH has finished making me  sturdy bird feeder pole complete with hanging hooks and feeders and painted a nice black to blend into the background. Very pleased with it and the balance is spot on in situ. Just waiting for the birds the birds to find it and approve of it😊😂
Busy, hope you enjoyed your quiet day, we did, it was a nice change.
Biglad, some folks.........nuff said. Just get the job done and leave them to it. New planter sounds good and deciding what goes in it will be even better.
Debs, good to hear Graham is enjoying the better weather and that he is in good health. Also good to hear that work was quiet for you.

    Happy Easter 🐣
Sun is shining here, done the walk around the garden in my dressing gown that is part of my routine from now on until winter.
Visiting friends later but this morning I want to mulch my pots on the patio and no doubt a dozen little jobs will be done.
I need to try to wash off the paint I got all over my hands and arms yesterday when I was sprucing up the garden furniture. I am a very messy painter!
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter Sunday

Good morning Ante and Debs. Happy Easter to all. Whatever you have planned for today I hope it is a special one for you.
Hazel, the bird feeder sounds good. You will enjoy watching all your visitors.
Debs, I can just imagine Graham basking in the lovely sunshine. Lets hope his (and our) Summer is a long and pleasant one when it gets here.

Good morning and a Happy Easter to you all .🐱🐰🐥🐣🐤.
We have a thick fog at the moment . I am hoping it will burn off soon . I have purchased a miniature Rhododendron that is full of buds . I haven’t had a rhodi’ before . Waiting for a delivery of  the compost . Last Autumn I looked at my garden and decided that I didn’t need any more plants. Strange how there are several plants that have popped into my my back garden waiting to be planted . Enjoy your day folks .
