@Busy-Lizzie that shrub looks really pretty, love white flowers.
@Yviestevie I agree with LB, there's never too much chocolate 🤭
Love the snoopy pic LB. The little hob sounds very useful, but I was thinking of an airfryer because of using the heat of a whole oven for something small for one person. I'm going to think about it, as I don't want more unused gadgets in the cupboard 😉🤣
@Songbird-2 hhope 23 gets better soon. My poppet2 had a sickness bug a couple of weeks ago and she was quite poorly with it. It lasted about a week.
@Biglad hope you manage to get everything posted during the week I'll keep my fingers crossed for dry weather for you 🤞🤞 Hope you're blister heals soon, they can be very painful.
@wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 sorry to hear you've had a migraine this afternoon, hope it goes soon and you get a good nights sleep.
    Night night everyone, sleep well.

    Good morning to all.

Wind is howling outside and it's rather cold. I'm prepared for school, and after work I have haircut appointment. Before covid time it was normal just to pop in barber shop and wait for haircut, but now you must previous make appointment. Yesterday I was at cottage just to see is everything in order, and we had a nice, long walk thru woods.

Wish you all nice and sunny Monday, and see you later.

    Don't be silly - I'm only joking!
Hazel, 23 must have been feeling in need of some 'Mum comfort' whilst he is unwell, bless him.
Rosie, I am fine thank you. Just counting off the days until I get Vinny back. My little furry friend has had her breakfast and is lying asleep next to me at the moment. I was sorry to read you had a migraine. I have never had one of those but I believe they can be completely draining compared to an ordinary, fleeting headache. I do hope that you don't get them too often.
Ouch Biglad, that is salt in the wound - developing a big blister. Plus point - as well as the pay - your step count will be magnificent! Emulating your Marti comments, I've got a bit of David Jason here this morning.
Ante, I am sending up positive thoughts that you get through today without killing anyone!

Morning everyone, It's a bit David Jason here too. Grass is quite white. Sun is trying to peek through the clouds, but looks chilly outside. I've got to take a parcel to our village post office, sending it back to the big river. Also post some cards. Bought a good supply of stamps the last few weeks, they go up today.
OH had a better nights sleep and feels a bit better.
Hope everyone managed to sleep well too, have a good day everyone and take care.

Good morning SGL. Its good to hear that your OH had a more restful night last night. Your walk to the village may be quite pleasant as long as you are wrapped up well. Do you know that you can arrange for your parcels to be picked up by the postie from your home? I have found this service extremely useful.

  • Morning all.  A.chilly morning so wrap up warm.  I’m off to the sm with Dad and have a mooch round.  May get some more sweet potatoes as really enjoyed those.  LB hope Vinny will soon be returned to you in good condition so your travels may continue.  Lily do hope we get some warm weather soon.  Biglad you have been busy posting can be challenging with longer drives.  I had a paper round when I was at school and I used to like to look at all the lovely lamps in the w indow on winter evenings.

Thank you LB, hopefully he'll have a good day today too. Thank you,  yes I  did know, it's only a small parcel and it's not too far to walk. But would use that if the parcel was bigger or heavy to carry.  We are very lucky with our postman, he's very nice and helpful when delivering. Would miss him if he left or was given a different route.

Morning @wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 you weren't there just now. Have a lovely mooch with your Dad. Hope you find everything you need in the SM. Hope your migraine has gone completely now. Take care.

    Morning all.

Sunny but chilly here. There is a frost.

We slept better. Only 3 more nights and OH should be able to sleep on his side. He has a physio appointment at the hospital tomorrow.
