I did to LB. We had a surprise visit from son and 23 tonight after school, it was lovely but I wasn't up to much, unfortunately. We did manage a game of hide the cadburys eggs though and a few games of Pelmanism. Had a relaxing bath and now near to bedtime. So will sign out for now and catch you all later.
Good morning Biglad and all later arrivals. Similar conditions here and you have to watch out for those errant bins. They have a secret life that only comes to the fore on wild and windy days.
What a lovely surprise you had last night Hazel. 23 must have known that his landmark centenary had been reached!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
It's grey and unpleasant outside, but fortunately no wind. I came home around 2am, and the road was completely empty on my return. After all that I'll have a nice and relaxing day. Hope you all enjoyed watching GW last night.
Morning all. Windy out here too Biglad. Hazel great that your son and 23 could pop round to see you, a nice surprise. I’ve had my first cuppa and breakfast, enjoy your day everyone.
Good morning Ante. Pleased you had a quiet run home. I totally agree with you about this time of year. The earth is awakening and we know that more good things are to follow. I have seen some big fat bees bumbling about. All is wonderful.

I agree about spring @Ante1. My plants are all starting to wake up and I've never seen so many ladybirds waking up from hibernation. But 3 big plants look as though they have died, Malvern Hills rose and 2 Clematis Montana 😢
We are going to the monthly farmers market in the village hall. The plant lady should be there.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

It's blowing a hoolie here. Stuff clattering around outside has woken me up. Think there may be recycling bins on the loose
Hazel, how lovely surprise from 23 and you son.
