Good to see you online @Ladybird4

It's a hotmail account and, unfortunately, there is an awful lot of stuff on there that I need/want to keep. I can whizz down selecting loads at a time and delete with one click but can't just select an entire folder (I am a bit organised! :D) without checking exactly what's in there.

I got a mail.com address a couple of years ago so use that for certain things (online plant shopping, for example!!!) and once I get under 100% on the hotmail I should be able to keep it active. It's just 20 years of work-related e-mails that have caused the problem (and the fact that I was allowed to get to 261% before it was flagged!). Bring on retirement!

Good morning everyone. Big Lad I hope you get your storage issues sorted quickly .261%  how does that work I wonder .
LB I guess any gardening plans are scuppered because of the rain . Same here ,I was looking forward to some gardening .

Morning Ruby. Yes, my gardening plans are scuppered too - but it is early yet and maybe by this afternoon it will be improved. My neighbour reminded me yesterday that our bin day had been moved forward a day due to the upcoming Bank Holidays so I had to get that organised for this morning.
I understand @Biglad. There are definitely some emails that need keeping but at least you have broken the back of THAT job too!

It's damp here so I won't be as naffed off about being trapped inside today.

    Half of 'em gone - 130% :D

Best start my proper job now!

Morning all. Another dry day so will try to get outside after I've prepped some stuff for dinner and done a bit of admin.

Belated Happy Wedding Anniversary to Mr & Mrs Rubee for yesterday🥂😍

Sorry to hear VM are playing up again LB. Frustrating isn't it? Have you considered changing your ISP? I'd get rid of the oak ree too but that might be easier said than done. I have a couple of small self-seeded ash trees with roots to Australia. Unfortunately they're both right in the middle of the very mature beech hedge so no chance of digging them out without removing sections of the hedge. We just keep cutting them as part of the hedge.

@biglad - can you download the e-mails you need to keep to your own computer (and back them up yourself) and then just delete them all from the email server to keep that easier to manage? I do that with my G-mail account.

Morning T'Bird. How did your OH's flight go the other day? Yep, VM can make me very angry at times - especially now whilst I'm in the middle of my contract with them and they are putting up the prices. Basically contracts with them mean zilch. 99.9% of the times they are brilliant which is why I do hesitate to switch. Weather permitting this aft. I will make a start on exterminating the oak.

    Hi folks.

A quick pop in and out again between appointments and trips here and there!
Hopsital appointment today went well but yesterdays was a different matter. No wonder my blood pressure was high. But  Specialist was leaning towards  confirming  initial diagnosis( on what I told  him and what he could see)  and I have to deal with him direct from here on in, and to bypass the Doctors surgery altogether. 👍

Haven't read too far back but Belated wedding anniversary wishes to Rubee and OH. Hope you enjoyed the day....how many now?
Ante, I sympathise with you about your weather, it's miserable when it's always cold or rainy or windy brrrr.
SGL.how is OH? Feeling more comfortable?
LB, hop VM is sorted now, I noticed the news covered the unexpected outage(?).
    Biglad, don't overdo things.
Sorry if I have missed anyone. Must dash off now.

    Good afternoon all.
Hazel, that is good news about being able to go direct to the specialist when needed. It must give you some peace of mind.
Well its still raining here so outdoor work is most definitely off the cards for today. I received a new hydrangea today - one called Glam Rock. It is a bit titchy at the moment but hopefully it will grow as quickly as the oak tree!

    Nice cacti LB!

OH's flight on Sunday went very well thank you - they had perfect weather for it. A total of 8 hours flying (all done by his friend) which must have been exhausting - especially as there's over and hour's drive to and from the airfield. I'm not sure that they took my point that they could have flown to somewhere like Boston in the same number of hours, in a comfy seat, with films, a meal and a few G&T's as required...😁

Good news about being able to go direct Hazel. I still find the way the whole issue has been handled deeply unsettling. Just think how somebody less able to manage 'things' could have ended up. In pain,  incorrect diagnosis on records, probably wrong meds etc etc etc.... I'd be considering a formal letter to the practice manager listing what's gone wrong and suggesting they reconsider pharmacist(s) reviewing patient care on behalf of the doctors.
