Good morning. Yesterday was incredibly busy at work but less manic than it has been. I stayed an extra 3 hours and was exhausted last night… 9 hours on your feet is not to be recommended. Planning a pottering day today in the garden. I want to sow some cosmos and tidy the greenhouse. Planning to sit in the sunshine too. Drink coffee and make plans.

There's David Jason outside but it looks like it'll warm up later to be a cracker. Glorious!

A very good morning all. I was up and out just after 06:00 to get to 'sco before the mad rush - it was mad enough yesterday when I was coming back from Bestie's. Despite the frost and ice warnings on the dashboard the roads were nice and quiet and the store similar. When I got to the check out I discovered that a lonesome hydrangea - reduced to £1.50, had mysteriously made its way into my basket. Just enjoying breakfast and a cuppa. I fed Lily before I went out and she is now doing her favourite thing - sleeping.
Glad to read that work was fairly OK Debs, but you are right, 9 hours standing can be wearing.

Keep going Biglad - nearly there now.
Ante - I love it when cats have a mad half hour running and jumping round the place. Those days for Lily are long gone I'm afraid. She doesn't even hide then mug me any more. She still takes great pleasure in using any hole I have dug in the garden as her personal toilet. She's forgiven!

I noticed that in my 'sco they have opened a new sushi section. I didn't browse this morning as I wanted to get home before the expected rush but I shall be taking a good look there the next time I'm down as I love it.

LB, nice that you avoid crowd in SM, and sushi section sound delicious. I would love to have something similar at my SM. My older cats are polite and don't make fuss anymore, but this is only one year old, and must admit, quite pampered.

Hi Rubee, don't worry, it's just young, playful little cat.

Debs, it's nice to hear that yesterday wasn't bad as you expected. Have a nice restful day.

I was in the front garden. It's nice sunny day, but still rather cold.

    Morning all.

The sun is streaming through the bedroom window as we have our coffee in bed. I'm not an early riser.

Good Friday today so I'll go to the village and join in with what they are doing at church later.

The knee pillows that I ordered arrived so that OH can lie on his side without twisting his hip. I got one for me too. It's very comfy at first, then I wake up 2 hours later snd it feels like a hard lump. But I think my knee likes it. Quicker going downstais to make the coffee this morning.

Morning all.  It's lovely and sunny here but it is chilly.  Have been out and watered in the lawn treatment.  I've got lots of seeds to sow and may pop to Ashwoods later with Bestie.  All in all a nice relaxing day planned.
