@sandown Hello... this thread is really for Roses but I love Cistus so let's try and sort out what you've got there..
I think your white one is Cistus purpureus 'Alan Fradd'.. would that be right? a stem has reverted to its parent Cistus purpureus... either keep it, or cut it out, ... up to you.. If you keep it, eventually it could produce more of the same and become dominant..
'Wild Monster in the wrong spot'... sorry, 'Narrow Water' lots of buds, will be a good show 'Mrs. Herbert Stevens, cl.' Slowly unfurling pointy buds are typical for this rose
@Tack I can’t believe DA mixed up a new rose launch like that! My Desdemona arrived without a tag from DA, so I wasn’t sure if it was definitely her until she flowered!
@Nollie thanks, I will have a look, although it may have to wait until morning now.
@cooldoc there isn’t a sticker, but I will double check just to make sure.
@cooldoc To water the potted roses, I plunge a small terracotta pot inside the bigger pot with it's drainage hole closed, either with cement mortar or sealant. I fill up the terracotta pots with water once a week if it doesn't rain. I have attached a photo below to show the arrangement. BTW, the rose in the picture is a Renaissance rose, Cecilia. Funny that a wimpy branch that I left unpruned is the first to bear a flower. Also this pot needs topping up of soil/compost and mulching - another pot I seemed to have missed out.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
