    ..such a pretty rose @Discandied lovely foliage too..  you have many unusual roses in your garden..  

    Lovely posy of flowers @AlliumPurpleSensation .. we don't hear about 'Skylark' very much..

    'The Lark Ascending' must be one of the most disease resistant roses I've had.. I do not recall seeing an issue with it at any time..

    Lovely roses and gardens earlier.. a connoisseur's cake... and frolicking frogs too ..

    South-facing wall, full afternoon sun. Shaded by the house in the morning.

    I moved this rose on Monday of this week. Thinking it could cope. I wanted it closer to the fence to be able to climb. I have trimmed it back but it is still clearly struggling. Should I trim it quite radically to alleviate the stress created by the blooms. Note to self to wait next until the proper time.
