Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
'Gabriel Oak', a huge bloom 'Eyes for You' 'Belle de Crecy' A part of 'Purple Skyliner' 'Scented Garden', the first bloom, a little bit bug-eaten (I have a lot of them this year, eating some of mostly white or yellow roses) Peony finally flowering
@Eustace - Malvern Hills is blooming but I can’t get a very good shot of it. It’s doing the same thing it did last year where it’s blooming in stages with different parts of the plant running on separate time schedules. At the moment it’s blooming on the newest growth. But that’s awkward to photo as it’s so high up it doesn’t look very impressive in photos.
I don’t think I’m going to get any more of those showstopper full bloom photos like I did a couple of years ago. Not unless I cut it back so I can retrain with younger canes.
Im pleased with this shot though, Scarborough Fair always gives me some lovely close up photos.

Another Scarborough Fair, Geranium Wargrave Pink behind.
@edhelka the Gabriel Oak flower is amazing and big, a beautiful colour too. i like all your roses, particularly Purple Skyliner, so full of flowers. Is it in full sun?
@Mr. Vine Eye your Malvern Hill looks still impressive to me! I liked the tadpole video, the little frog is lovely. Now thatI I see your Royal Jubilee I get the doubt thatI bought the wrong rose, I have Royal Celebration but now I am not sure it was the rose I wanted.
Royal Celebration, as of today it has only one small cane
Rhapsody in blue
Night Owl
Also, I think I may have planted Julia Child in the wrong spot. How tall and large does it get? At the moment it’s swamped by taller roses and I can barely see it.

Hope the birthday present is liked by the recipient 💐
Filled this and still had a lot left, need to bring another container.
So I don't need to mess about stripping individual leaves off, I can just put the entire comfrey plant in the press.
