@ElbFee, I fed those pots with tomato feed. A little bit of feed whenever I watered. Back then I had a lot more time and only 12 roses. I cant get that kind of blooming roses now a days.

Love your garden and love your hosta too. I wish I could have hostas planted in the border like that. I am forever babying my hostas in pots to save from snails.

@JessicaS - yes they definitely can take a rigorous pruning and are all the better for it. When I hard pruned mine it filled an entire garden bin. You can’t see in the picture but it continues past that brick buttress. This section was in a bad state with lots of patches with no leaves and the leaves that were there were all dead so I removed all of them. It came back and fully filled out that section with new growth. So don’t be afraid.

Has anyone else got sycamore seedlings absolutely everywhere this year? Found three in Evelyn's pot alone and just keep finding more.

Spot on @Marlorena. I find it very annoying when my phone camera posts the pics to the forum in reverse order - catches me out every time.

@Lizzie27, my strawberry hill usually has darker, shinier leaves with reddish edges, a bit like plastic.
