    The Harkness roses are a very nice duo.

    Just had an hour or so jet washing aphids off most of my roses which are quite heavily infested. I misunderstood what was meant by having green fingers!!
    I also find that several buds have either been chewed or broken off, Desi being the worst afflicted. Unlike Marlorena we have not had any really heavy weather here, what else might have caused this?

    Just another day at the plant...

    @owd potter The birds are eating the aphids and break the tender new shoots in the process.
