A lot of my roses have had a limited rebloom this year, but there's a few looking good now. Rose de Rescht. Jacques Cartier. Blush noisette has flowered all summer, as you would expect. Miranda - the second flush has been much better than the first. The plant hasn't grown much all summer though. Reine de Violettes - has only had a couple of late summer flowers, but one is out now. Bouquet de la Mariee - got terrible blackspot after the first flush, but has since put out lots of healthy growth. Sidonie - unexpectedly very good remontancy this year. Has not been without any flowers all summer. Odorata - like blush noisette flowers nearly all summer.
⌚ from left: Ulmer Munster, Othello, Pure Poetry, Chandos Beauty, Papa Meilland, Korresia. Blush noisette with many flowers fading away. Lucky that it doesn't need deadheading individually as a shake will dislodge the spent blooms. The combination of Eeuwige Passie, Summer song and Evelyn May looks nice. Munstead Wood, Timeless Pink, L'Aimant and Timeless Charisma.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
I noticed Desdemona is not listed under Good For Bees section on DA website. But the flower form looks quite pollinator friendly to me. Does it not produce pollen or some other reason like that?
Funnily enough @salo.daria I’m sat in my garden next to a Desdemona and I just watched a very fat bumblebee have a look and sniff around it but it flew off and went deep into my You’re Beautiful so perhaps it isn’t bee friendly.
First decent blooms off Falstaff, which has only wanted to die back and back since it was planted last October. Doubt I'll keep this one come the great winter garden rearranging...

Is it time for the new thread yet? Starting to think about bareroot plantings and other autumnal things.
Cat Douch, *love* You're Beautiful. Your pics are great
The sunshine and rising temperatures have brought along lots of aphids and sawfly caterpillars on the roses. I shouldn't complain though.
The Lark Ascending is glowing in the sunlight 🙂
Whereas Susan Williams-Ellis is a cool white. Fewer petals on Vanessa Bell. Bordure Camaieu showing a range of colours See you in Purple Summer Song L'Aimant with Desdemona behind
Timeless Charisma - bud stage and fully opened. (I'm playing around with the collage utility on my phone 😀)
