    As many of you seem to be having, I've got a lot more blackspot this year then I have previously but it'll be all the soggy.

    @marlorena
     You should get one, I only ordered the cheapest I could find online. But wanted one of the ones you could disassemble into separate levels. Rather than one prestocked with bamboo that you'd have to refresh or wood drilled with holes that would eventually need replacing.

    It was busy with activity just now

    My worst for BS so far is Mme. Antoine Mari, don’t think it likes the rain.

    I agree about GJ, fabulous rose. Doesn’t repeat as well as some, but I really hope they don’t bump her off.

    @Mr. Vine Eye   I'll watch yours Mr Vine.. I have no skills at putting anything together.. so it'll be fun to follow progress..  what is that putty stuffing the holes please?..

    @cooldoc
    Yes I just snip off spent flowers through the season, it produces more..  I might get the white version this week..

    ..lovely big blooms on your roses @Athelas
    Some of them are producing huge blooms this Spring I've noticed.. 'Lady of Shalott' in particular..

    ..and I've just taken a zillion photos and don't like any of them..

    @HarryWhite I think it might be vapourer moth. I had it on one of my roses last year…
