@Rojas 2.99 is a good price, I hope they were decent plants...
Mine are in pots. Very easy to care for, they were out all winter, unprotected, although against a wall.. They should not be fertilized, but some top up compost can be applied. Trimming off any old spent flower spikes in Jan/Feb time is good as they come into flower by late April.. and you don't want the old spikes still showing.. a quick snipping off with scissors is all it takes.. I didn't prune them back at all.. No watering from me during autumn/winter, and I only water from Spring to Autumn if very dry, perhaps once a month, a decent watering.. As they are evergreen, I cannot think of a more rewarding plant for 12 months of the year, for so little effort on my part..
..mid January.. I appear to have already removed most of the old flowers.. ..early May.. I bought a new one on 3rd May, and I took this photo yesterday..
That’s a beautiful combination of hesperis and iris @ElbFee.
I ordered CPM, The Prince and The Dark lady from Schmid Gartenpflanzen last year. Unfortunately they muddled up my address and the parcel was lost. I assume it was returned to them. I see they now have the same three available potted, I wonder if if mine are among them..
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

Isn't it a sign from the heavens that you should reorder?
Very big football game for Lutonians today. Might buy a rose to steady the nerves.
Your Harlow Carr @pitter-patter will certainly make a statement when all this buds pop.
@WAMS, you think a new rose will help? Than I will copy. OH is anxious for his team to win the championship, after the Bavarians ruled the league for 11 years in a row.
@Nollie maybe Schmid just wants you to have more major roses and kept them a year longer?
@pitter-patter just wow.. not an expert on gardens but yours looks 'Zenglish' Harlow Carr's habit would mean that it is best grown as a standard as you have there..
Enough with the Lavender temptations @Marlorena as if roses where not enough, you have started posting more perennials and Clematis pics.. and for the first time I spend for perennials more than roses.. Do you deadhead french lavenders to get another flush or just leave them on..?
Hmm, at three times the price for potted, hefty postage and the chance they’ll muck up delivery again? I think I’ll pass! I’m planning on getting Natalja instead of CPM, will take cuttings of TP this year and can live without TDL.
I did manage to save this lovely Munstead Wood bloom last night and expunge the pollen beetles by plunging it in a bucket of water. The open ones are mostly ok, just unsightly on the bush..
They are going for my Hemerocallis now too:

GJ I’m sure is in everyone heres garden but I think as a result she’s under appreciated. This plant is only in the ground about 15 months, maybe less, and it’s already fantastic…
