Morning all 😊 ☕️ 6C and dry here at the moment, but rain expected shortly. We had a pretty settled night … the only downside of that is that my son is stiff and sore this morning, but the painkillers are kicking in now and he’s on his second cup of tea 😊
We are talking politics this morning … normal service is being resumed 😄
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Down near the Oak tree. There's a row of Sorbus behind them and I'd like to give them some more light and space to develop. I have lots of Ash, but not many flowering / berrying trees.
Morning all. Glad to see that people have been busy in the garden etc. It was just the weather yesterday and I have prepped my seed sowing area (I'm way behind Punkdoc who is at the pricking out stage), ready for some sowing this afternoon, after a meeting in town this morning.
But dull, dull, dull outside and I won't be surprised if it rains in a bit.
Grey here, forecast says rain after 10am. I was hoping to finish clearing up the dead MH rose. Better get a move on to put the big garden bags under cover. Don't want them all wet in the car.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning everyone, wet and miserable here too. Missed out on yesterday's dry weather, my seedlings are not at the pricking out stage either so not sure what I can do today. Our new bedroom carpet will finally be fitted on Thursday but as we didn't fully move back in there's not much to move till the day.

I'm very pleased my friend called last night to say he couldn't come today to help me take down 5 ash trees.
