Good afternoon  , a bit damp on and off today but nowhere near as bad as yesterday.  Did a stint at Capel Manor today,  first time for a while for various reasons.  Highlight of the day was a Red Kite, that came over just skimming over the tops of the trees,  I have never seen one so close  I knew they were big but it's only when you see them so close that you see just how impressive they are.

Glad to hear the hospital was pleased with Rob's progress @Dovefromabove
Feeling a bit chilly today, took Hubby to physio this morning and then left him with speech therapist while I had my hair done.  Nothing else planned today, feeling a bit meh.
Sad to hear about Paul O'Grady, such a lovely caring man with an absolutely wicked sense of humour.

Afternoon all, another return trip today back to M&S to swop the clothes I bought yesterday for different sizes. I ended up with three different garments in three different sizes, how stupid is that! I suppose that at least I can now proudly boast I take a size 12 in one of them! The Bath store is rather tiring however, being on 3 floors with the changing rooms on the middle one, so lots of toing and froing and long walks to and from the bus stops. I was exhausted by the time I got home. At least no school children today (Should have said @didyw that they were on a school trip yesterday to the theatre, not going to school).

Glad the hospital visit was good @Dovefromabove. What a strange PM though. Presumably the next bit would be ' can you send me some money'.

Love Red Kites @Allotment Boy. Used to see a lot of them when visiting family in Wales, they're getting closer to us so we expect to see them here very soon. They are indeed very big.

What part of Gran Grannaria are you visiting  @Hostafan1. We enjoyed a holiday there many moons ago.

It's still cold and very wet here, I got drowned this morning standing just outside the bus shelter (it was full) when a sudden big gust of wind blew a puddle of cold water off the top of the canopy roof all over me. Ruined my new hairdo of course.

Yes, @Dovefromabove. I had exactly the same message in my inbox (it’s gone now). Obviously a spam. I was asking if anyone knew how to report and delete such messages, as I couldn’t figure out how to do so. However, as I say, the message has since disappeared, so I’m guessing the moderators must have done it somehow.

    😂, yes, it is @puncdoc.
Meant to add @Dovefromabove that that is excellent news about your son. He is doing so well 😁.

    Evening everyone.

Very encouraging news about your son @Dovefromabove. I hope you, @WonkyWomble and the rest of the family are able to breathe a little now the recovery phase is in full swing.

We were talking about haircuts the other day, in work, and came to the following conclusions:
    1. It will probably rain on hair cut day/day after (the chance increasing if you have to walk back to a car or bus).
    2. There will be a social event, photo-taking or important meeting literally the day before your haircut, which will make you hate that it was this way round.
    3. Somebody close to you will NOT notice/comment on your new haircut yet a stranger/vague acquaintance WILL.
    4. When you first wash/dry your hair after a new cut, you soon realise that you will NEVER be able to blow dry or style it as well as the hairdresser.

I hope everyone is ok. Chilly and raining here so there’s a beef stew on the go for tonight.
