As you’ll have noted @Hostafan1, she had the requisite gardener’s dog … she could’ve grown up to be a GW presenter! 😉 Dog was named Hodge … after Samuel Johnson’s cat … she came to us with that name 😊
Nurse says son had a settled night … they continue to tweak his meds and monitor his bloods etc … he’ll be having a shower and a change of dressings and some physio today and we’ll see him tomorrow. 😊

Today’s update from the hospital is that after a difficult 24 hours when my son was confused and in a lot of discomfort, today has been much more positive and he seems more comfortable and settled … and the doctors are very pleased with how the wounds are healing 😊 💙

It must be very difficult thinking about and dealing with the ‘lows’ @Dovefromabove, but the staff will navigate him through. That’s great news that the wounds are doing well - such excellent progress.
@AuntyRach I've written a card to the staff thanking them but it just doesn't feel enough... Please let us know if there is any gift that goes down well so we can show our appreciation for every bit of incredible care they are giving, thank you x
