My Nan had an NHS walking stick for a while, that the GP surgery arranged for her. She hardly used it, because "using a stick makes me look old". They wouldn't take it back after she died. I expect it's still at my parents' house somewhere. Maybe one of them will use it sooner or later.

I know how hard it can be to cope with the recovery from injuries.
Wishing you all some happiness this Easter.

So good to hear that Rob continues to progress, albeit more slowly than he would want.  The observation about pushing, but not too hard is so true.  It's all too easy to overdo things and set yourself back.

What a lovely update that is. I hopee Rob's improvement will continue steadily under the care of his mum and sister as well as the medical folks.

I'm glad everything's going in the right direction, I couldn't find this thread the other day (forgot the title!).
Keep going Rob, we're still rooting for you! 💪
Good going family. Much love. ❤

Yes, great news that Rob is home and doing nicely.
It's good to get the email updates especially when written by the man himself!
