😊 Hope you’ve got your feet up now @Pat E

Anyone seen @Hostafan1  this morning?  Hope he’s survived his chicken curry and we don’t have to send out a search party 😉

    🤔 or worse … a medical team!

Not surprised you are fed up @Pat E.  Whinge away!

Hope @Hostafan1 survived after his curry.  Actually hope that it turned out to be delicious.

You don't often see me here at this time of the morning!  Up early to wait for Royal Mail to collect a parcel I paid for online.  They are still not accepting parcels or packages that go abroad at the Post Office.  And at 9am, or thereabouts, the plumber is coming to fix our banging tap and the outside loo pipes that froze and flooded a while back.

Then its back to my funding bids.  One down, one to go.

    good morning all.
The curry wasn't  " delicious " but it was perfectly edible given it was just old chicken and a jar of sauce.

    Morning all,
Dinner tonight is going to be roughly the same as yours @Hostafan1, frozen left over turkey and a jar of sauce with vegetable samosas as a side. Glad yours was eatable.

Not sure what to do today, we had a frost again earlier and the sunshine has now disappeared so it's just cloudy and cold. I had hoped to do a bit more weeding and mulching but now don't much feel in the mood. Might just have to do some H/W instead and perhaps start repairing/ironing the curtains I've washed. Need to get them up and out of the way.

Sorry to hear your shoulders are bad @Pat E, as Dove says, you have been through a rough time lately, hope it all improves soon.

Hope your plumber turns up @didyw and that your parcel was collected.

Right, better finish my coffee and go and do something!

Carrying on the great freezer clearance, I've defrosted some sausages, god alone knows how long they've been lurking on the bottom shelf.

We had a frost this morning but it wasn't the pretty sort, just cold and bleak.

I got up late again and haven't done much. Must hang up the newly washed clothes in the spare bedroom, machine has just beeped.

I may go and prune the climbing Iceberg rose.

    we have drizzle.  :(
    Devon.
  • Glad there's no 'ill effects' @Hostafan1 ... hummus is discarded when it goes furry or crusty here ... and I'm sure the sausages will be fine.

A big piece of complex paperwork which has been going on for quite some time has finally been approved and sent  o:) 🤞

Tomatoes on toast for lunch ... then a bit of needlepoint to unfrazzle my brain ...

Supper will be some curry from the freezer ... looks like there's a bit of a theme here today ... 😂

I shall break the theme! We are having fish pie. Followed by the apple and blackberry pie I made yesterday, big enough for 3 days.

    Afternoon all,

well, it’s been and still is a cold, grey, miserable looking day - bring back the blue sky and sunshine 😁.

Popped into town today to get a few provisions from the deli and the cheese stall, but back now and hunkered down - don’t have any plans to go out anymore today.

For dinner tonight we are having lamb tagine. I’m going to prep the veg for it shortly and then pop it in the oven later for slow cooking. Might come round to yours @Busy-Lizzie for some apple and blackberry pie to follow 😂.

Hope your shoulder soon feels easier @Pat E. You’re certainly in the wars at the moment.
