I’ve just caught up with your news, Dove and Wonky. Thinking about him and hoping he is being given lots of pain killers. Burns are horrible.
I’m having to rely on Hubby for lots of things. Firstly, he has to get in the shower with me since I can’t reach above shoulder height. 😡. Then he has to dry and dress me and do my hair which is long and very quickly gets knots in It. Ouch! Then as I wander out to the living area, he makes my toast and tea, spreads my goats cheese on and I struggle along with this. Swallowing tablets is a trial, too, but am managing to keep up with my medication. I’ve started taking Panadol tabs to try to ease the discomfort.
He has arranged an appointment this afternoon for me to see a physiotherapist. That’ll be a first, as I always prefer Chiropractic support. Interesting times.
i assume the people who are supposed to fit the updated electric meter will turn up one day. 😳
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Thank you all for your kind thoughts. News overnight is no change … he’s stable … and they’re waiting to find out about a transfer to a higher level burns unit.
Hope you all have a good day … 😊

thank you for the update Dove, but don't feel that you have to. We are all thinking of you and sending our best wishes. Keep strong.
It is sunny here. Done blood test, helped neighbour with water leak and all before half past eight this morning. Going to spend the day doing some baking and helping OH with the garage insulation.
@Dovefromabove Many thanks for keeping us updated, at least your son is considered stable which is encouraging I think.
Best wishes to you both and for his good recovery.
It's sunny here but with a cold wind. I've only been out to meet OH on his return from the shop. The snowdrops on the banks of the stream are beginning to bloom which is a lovely sight. Not sure what I'll do today, I don't feel very lively and am still suffering from a blocked nose.
Dove and Wonky still very much in my thoughts and hoping that the transfer to the burns unit will help the poor boy.
@Pat E - you really are in the wars aren't you? Good that you have such a supporting (literally!) husband. And you have Pixel to give you joy.
My SIL is in the garden, trimming back the hedges and rounding off the box bush which has got a bit out of hand. He'll also tie in the Rosa Banksiae that I have on the house and trim it back a bit. There are 2 old birds nests in it - blackbirds I think. Hope they nest in it again this year.
Made the most of a dry bright day to really get going with a tidy up in the garden, mostly removing dead and dying foliage plus some pruning, the green bin is nearly full already. Wardrobe parts were delivered at 7:10 man is here busy building new ones, he expects to finish by weds at latest.
