Morning Forkers. Sunny day here, will try to do half hour gardening as imposed by back pains. I keep looking at the pruning to be done from behind windows, alas, I have got bigger fish to fry this week.

It was lovely this morning to look at pics of snowdrops from another thread: such beauty.

Keep thinking of you Dove and Wonky. Hugs and thank you for the coffee. 🤗

    Morning folks.

Bit grey here but supposed to brighten up later. I have a uniform wash on so I need a few hours of line drying time.

I hope the admin isn’t too stressful @Dovefromabove and that you and @WonkyWomble are looking after yourselves.

Take care everyone and go easy those doing garden jobs - our backs and joints need a gentle return from hibernation.

    Pancakes later anyone? 🥞

    Morning all.

    Hugs for @Dovefromabove and @WonkyWomble.

I don't know if we'll be having pancakes today. We have been invited to friends for dinner this evening.

OH's high stool for sitting on when at the washbasin after his op and 2 loo seats with arms have arrived. I can't get on with the loo seats, too tall, feet can't touch the floor.

We enjoyed meeting the new couple in our village when we went for coffee with a friend. They are planning to live here in the winter and in France in the summer. They are quite a bit north of us in France.

  • Hello all from the sunny Alps. I've managed in the main to read back, but little time to post.

Thinking of your son @Dovefromabove, really does sound dreadful. How did it actually happen?

@Busy-Lizzie, everything crossed for the operation on Thursday.

To everyone else, hope all ok and nice to hear people getting out into the gardens.

Back on the slopes now, skiing with a teenager is relentless, I'm hoping he'll find friends to go with next year, this pace is a bit much for me. He does do a few runs on his own but then I'm worried about him....

    So beautiful though.

    Good day to all. 😁

Thank you about OH @D0rdogne_Damsel. Those photos bring back happy memories of skiing with my family. Nowadays I'm left with the memory of twisting my knee on the slopes, pain has come back. Stay safe.

Lovely pics @D0rdogne_Damsel.  My youngest g'daughter is going skiing with the school next month.  They've done a dry ski which she enjoyed.  Hopefully this will help her with her various fears.  She doesn't like bridges, or piers where you can see the sea beneath, or boats...  I'm no help, being terrified of escalators.  (It's the chasmic void that gives me the creeps - I feel that being sucked into it is inevitable unless I hold on and concentrate).

    Afternoon Forkers.

It’s a bright, sunny day but chilly. Got into the garden yesterday for a short time to plant a few spring flowers but that’s all I did.

Today, I had a few household chores to do and then got on with some more of my painting by numbers. It’s quite intricate, though, requiring the use of a magnifying glass at times and a good light. I can only do so much before my hand begins to feel crampy and then I have to stop. I think it’s going to take a while to complete.

Lovely photos @D0rdogne_Damsel. It looks so nice and clear. It’s a different kind of cold to here, isn’t it - dryer and fresher?

Good luck to your OH for Thursday @Busy-L@Busy-Lizzie

Glad to hear that the physio is helping you @Pat E.
