I liked the inside, very old and beamy. Outside looks better behind. Entered by a country lane, the front is big main road, A140.

  • Yes that’s the view I get as I drive past … I’ve a feeling I only went there once or twice in the late 60s with the Ex’s football team after a match …

  • Evening all,

Hope you feel better soon @Pat E, as others have said, take it easy, I know though, easier said than done!

Unusual hectic social life for me this week, Hen Night Party this evening, a retirement party tomorrow and the wedding on Saturday. Sounds exciting, but actually, all a bit tame, which is actually fine with me, a bit of time with friends over dinner and luncheon is far more civilized than the parties/weddings attended 30 years ago.

Charlie finishes school for two weeks tomorrow too, so I'm happy.

Still lots of niggling problems, including the house purchase... But I'm ignoring them .

Just wanted to say hello to you all.

Hello DD. I hope your house situation gets sorted soon. I’m glad Charlie is doing well. I don’t know how you can manage the restaurant so well. Such energy!

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Hello @Pat E 😊
Waving at you @D0rdogne_Damsel  … have a lovely time with Charlie. 😊
An earlier start today as OH will be off to work and I have my trip to the farm shop … I need to get some petrol too …

Good morning all and good afternoon Pat.

@D0rdogne_Damsel have a good time with friends and with Charlie of course. OH off to the dentist for a crown, so mushy food for him for lunch. Managed to get rid of most of the sweets, but fewer kids came round. A sign of the times.
The government is self-congratulating here for saving 25 per cent of gas in January helped by the milder temps of course. Public buildings are most definitely colder, at least those used by the public 😉 We have also been very careful, I am quite fed up with wearing 3 jumpers but I hate Putin more.

    Have a good day all

PS I'd love a shopping trip to an English GC @Allotment Boy. Great looking seed potatoes, which ones did you buy?

    Good morning everyone.

Sunny.  Windy.  Cold.  (but not your cold up there yonder).

Markets this morning.  Fresh eggs, fruit, vegetables.

Having my ears lowered at the hairdresser's this afternoon.  Looking forward to a nice head massage as my sinuses are surfacing.

Having your ears lowered @tui34??? By a hairdresser? Surely should be by a plastic surgeon? 😄
