So hard for you today Dove, so much to process. The attention to detail from the nurses sounds spot on though - even down to playing music!

    Sleep well all.

I’m so glad that your visit went well Dove. You obviously just need to hang in there for a bit longer.

When I checked the temp on the veranda this morning, the gadget showed 55.1c ! 😳 luckily the inside temp was 23. I went out and opened the windows and promptly closed the inside door. I hate summer! Sorry Hosta. 🤭

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️ ☕️ ☕️
A sunny morning here … on our journey yesterday I saw a bank of wild primroses beneath a wonderful display of wriggling hazel catkins … thank goodness spring is coming … travelling is going to be so much better than it could’ve been …
Thank you for all your kindness folks … I hope you all have a good weekend …

Morning all, Hope you both had a good night's sleep @Dovefromabove and @WonkyWomble. I agree spring is finally on it's way, I can see our purple leaved cherry tree is about to break into blossom - I can see it from recliner in the living room. The witch hazel has lots of bright orange flowers and all my purple crocuses are blooming underneath - lovely.

Unfortunately it's drizzly and overcast here so no gardening today. In any event we are going to our monthly car club lunch and chat in a pub soon, I'm just waiting for OH to come back from the papershop.

Have a good weekend folks, take care.

So glad to hear that you had a successful visit Dove and that the nurses seem to be taking such good care of your son, they are just the best aren't they. I'm sure too that he was reassured by your talking to him, it is surprising how much a sedated person can actually hear so I have been told. Hopefully he will now continue to make his way to a full recovery even if it is a slow journey.
Close families are simply the best especially when the need arises. My very best wishes to you all.
