    Morning all.

I will be celebrating French Mother's Day which is in May. I'll go to today's church service though.

I wanted to ring the hospital this morning to find out about NDN but you can't ask about patients until after 10am.

Morning everyone, hope you are all keeping well. Sorry I haven't read back.
@Busy-Lizzie hope your OH is feeling much better after his operation and all is going well.
@Rubee hope your OH is coping well too and isn't in too much pain.
Hope you all have a lovely day whatever you're doing. We have a beautiful sunny morning here today, which makes a change after all the rain, snow and grey days we've had.
I'm going to try and post a bit more often, but my OH is very poorly, but seems to be coping a little better these last few days. But I need to spend time with him.
Miss our chats, take care everyone.

morning all  we have lovely sunshine again today( sorry to those who have rain) but it looks like it's rained again overnight. OH is going to sow his cosmos seeds today but some radish he sowed in the chicken pot have suddenly popped up overnight, talk about the day of the trifids. They've put on a big amount of growth in the early hours. Most odd. But nice.
@star gaze lily , nice to see you.I hope you both are coping and that you have a lovely Mother's day with some pampering maybe, from the family.
Son popped round last night, on way to night shift and brought my Mothers day present round. its a ( small) air fryer! Never had one before but he said it would help with fuel costs after our fixed deal ends in December,( bless him) plus the fact it does food a lot quicker than an oven. So we experimented with some chips and they were lovely and crisp outside and really fluffy inside. just the job.
Ante, that time with your sister has really flown by. Hope she has enjoyed the visit and you too of course. For your sister...

    Hello all.
We've been to church and were given 2 posies of spring flowers, had coffee and malt loaf. OH's most active outing so far. He walked faster from the car park along the pavement than he has for a long time, still has crutches though.

I've rung the hospital. NDN has been admitted, but I'm not kin so they can't give out information. They will ask her if I can be on her contact list.

I'm sorry your OH is so poorly @star gaze lily.

Busy, that sounds as if your NDN has either broken a bone or she is being kept in for OBs maybe? Hope she is ok. Your morning at church  sounds nice and how lovely to come away with two flower posies. Good to hear your OH is up and mobile, each step a small step for his recovery, he certainly deserves it.
OH and I have spent the morning and some time after dinner, out in the garden, pottering, tidying shed up, sowing seeds ( cosmos and Californian poppies), cleaning cloche domes, sowing some dwarf annuals and generally just messing about. It's lovely to be out there in the sun,so satisfying and hopefully getting plenty of Vit C.

    Good afternoon all.
Debs I hope that you have had a lovely time with your children and grandchildren today.
Busy I do hope that your next door neighbour is OK and I can understand their hesitancy in giving out any information. Hopefully she will add you to her trusted contacts. How nice to get some posies at church as well as coffee and malt loaf (love that!)
So lovely to see you SGL. x It is nice to read that your OH is rallying a little. I hope that you have both had the chance to see the poppets today.
Hazel, you and your OH have been busy again in the garden. Lots of lovely flowers to look forward to as well some salad ingredients. By the way, its Vit D you get from the sunlight unless you know a secret! I've been looking at air fryers as my Bestie has one and she swears by it. I would like one I can bake my cakes in though. I never make chips but Bestie says it is great for chicken and pizzas.

Slip of the Vit finger there LB! Tried the air fryer out on some roast potatoes for tea, came out nice and crisp outside and fluffy inside, very nice.

Im going to sign out for today, rather tired after our days activities. Have a good evening everyone.
