    Afternoon all,

It’s been another beautiful day, frosty and cold but bright.
The daylight hours are certainly lengthening, it’s almost 4 pm and the sun is still out, the birds are singing and the spring plants are growing. Lovely.

I hope that you are feeling stronger today @Ante1 and that being able to work from home has helped you.

Nice to see a flower shoot on your orchid @Biglad, mine sends out new leaves but I’ve not had any flower shoots for about 3 years, and I haven’t the heart to throw it away whilst the leaves still look glossy and healthy.

    Afternoon all.

I never had much success with orchids, so I let them go.

Thank you all for kind words, and I'm feeling much better. Runny nose is still here, but I feel stronger. My doctor (mums cousin and my godmother) gave my antibiotics, so it will be soon over.
Whole day is freezing, and it will last till Saturday. Calm, dry and below zero.

It must be so nice having a Doctor in the family Ante. The antibiotics will soon start their work and you should recover very quickly. We are set for some more cold weather but just the sight of the sun today was very cheery.

  • Evening all.  Biglad lovely sunset.  Hazel is mum a Pisces hope she’s looking forward to her birthday, good that 23 already has her card.  Ante poor you do rest and keep taking something for your head and temperature, do take care.  LB we had some sunshine today too although warnings of a cold spell.

Hello there Rosie. How is Alfie with all this peculiar weather? Lily only goes out for the essentials and then spends most of her time asleep. She does have a 'chatter' at the blackbirds she sees through the front window after she has had a go at her scratching post.

LB, it's very convenient, in situation like my today, to have doctor in the family. My cats are also whole day inside, and go out just for short time. Today I found unpleasant surprise on my front door. I often forget that cats are hunters.

Uh oh Ante. The hunter was just bringing you a 'gift' to cheer you up because you are poorly! You have to tell them that they are 'good' and give them praise otherwise they think you are disappointed and will go out looking for something else to kill.

Rosie, yes mum and I are both Pisces, have always loved the sea. However not seen much of it for a long time.
Ante,,really good to know you've got some antibiotics, they'll soon kick in and you'll soon be feeling better.
Red Maple, your weather sounds the same as ours! I did get my pot prepared for the cosmos but soon came back in.
I'm at the dentist tomorrow ( how joyful) so will be glad when that's over.
Signing out for now, folks. Have a good evening.
