Hello all. Just touching base again. I have been reading all your posts but don't feel up to chatting.
I have not had a good start to the year. Went back to work on the 3rd of Jan and promptly collapsed, Apparantly, I have a very low and irregular heart rate and it dropped too low. I have got to have heart scan followed by a 48 hour moniter fitted on the 28th of Feb. I have been told not to drive until the consultant has seen the results.
I hope you are all well, or recovering.

Lovely to see you again @Pauline 7 but so sorry to hear of your health issues. That would have been really scary for you so take things easy until all ย the tests are done and see what's what then. Take care.

Good afternoon all. Red maple - what a super day you had yesterday. Hope pilates helps limber you up today.
Busy you and your OH get gold stars for being super friends. I hope that today is the day your friend can be brought home.
Debs, you have been lucky this week with the weather - it is gorgeous here today. Not super warm but at least the sun is shining. I decided to make the most of it and got Lily's TV on. Hopefully bringing in dry cloth things later. Had a long chat with my Bestie - she is busy clearing out the house of her friend. A sad task but a necessary one and she has promised me that she won't overdo things. We should be back to normal in terms of visiting next week.

Oh my goodness Pauline and Hazel, neither of you were there when I typed my post (NB must remember to refresh page before posting!)
Pauline it is so nice to see you but I'm saddened to read that you are going through the wars with your health at the moment. You take care of yourself and do what has been advised - even though you (if you are like me) would love to carry on driving.

Thanks Hazel and LB. I hope to be able to drive again after everything has been sorted. It would,ย  probably,ย  have been sorted by now if I had stayed in hospital,ย  but after 2 days of horrendous occurrences I walked out in my PJ's and got OH to come and pick me up.ย
    Work are,ย  as usual,ย  being brilliant.ย

Oh my goodness Pauline, that does sound dire. I hope you don't encounter anything else like that as you start your recovery.

Pauline, what a sad state of affairs that drives a patient in hospital to actually walk out. Poor you, that must have been horrendous for you. Sorry to hear you had to experience that when you were so poorly. Unacceptable.
LB, it will be sad for your a bestie to clear out her friends house. I hope she is alright and gets through the task as best she can.
Busy, good to have friends like you who will help out in times of need and support. Really nice.

Evening all. Another cold, but bright and sunny day so we headedsouth to the hills and a drive to two of the Dambuster dams. Nice scenery and not too busy. Have stocked up on beer to bring home. At less than ยฃ1 a bottle for a pint of good beer t'would be rude not to!

Pauline - good to see you, but sad to read your news. Fingers crossed your health issues can be sorted fairly quickly.

BL - the Abbey gardens in Bury are rather nice aren't they? I like the mix of history & horticulture. Decent lunch in the refectory too.

@Red maple - the walk round the nature reserve sounds lovely. From some of your recent chat (visits to York I think etc) I'm wondering if you're in my in-laws neck of the woods? MIL lives in Monk Fryston which is not far from Fairburn Ings - a nature reserve on an old industrial site.

Debs - glad you're enjoying your time away.ย

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
