Good morning Debs and safe journey home. So pleased you had the perfect week you were hoping for. How was your Sunday lunch yesterday? Did it live up to expectations?

I'll find out when I turn up, @Ladybird4, but a bit of weeding, pruning, planting and tidying up I reckon.

    Morning all.

We will be going to BeanQ for a new shower hose. Sainsbugs is opposite so we'll pop in there too. I need some ingrediants to make a cake for the C of E coffee morning on Saturday in aid of Turkey after the earthquake.

Morning all. I had a bad nights sleep with bad shoulder pains. Probably from all that messing about yesterday. I have quite a lot to be getting on with today so will have to go easy.
Last night, OH and I were looking for our wedding day cake decoration and scroll that we were presented with upon our marriage ( can you believe 50 years ago this years ?gawd) and we couldn't find them anywhere.

We are going to take a look in the loft for them but we have a feeling they may have been in the " lost box". When we moved we realised we were a box short although everywhere had been cleared from our old house. We were quite disappointed we couldn't find them.

I know they are nothing compared to big scheme of things but they were sentimental to us.

Have a good day everyone. Hope Rosie is alright.

I am not sure where they are .

Have just spent nearly an hour on phone to BT to renew contract. What a faff on, I'm shattered now😕

Rubee, we had some of those little silver shoes too, they've gone missing too🙁 Not our anniversary until August but last night I just had the thought that I didn't know where they were and went looking.

    Afternoon all,

Decided to walk this morning. So that's about a 5-mile round trip with a couple of hours 'work' in between. Mostly just tidying up but there were a couple of things to plant as well. Good for the soul and the daily step count ;)

It's been sunny today. I pruned rose Souvenir de Dr Jamain and planted another 18 violas.

It brightened up nicely this afternoon, so OH and I enjoyed a nice walk locally, admiring all the pretty spring flowers starting to come out and listening to the variety of birdsong. Very pleasant, though still fairly chilly in the shade - I don’t think winter is quite done yet.
