Hi Pauline Crossed Fingers Light Skin Tone on Noto Color Emoji Animated
Morning Biglad, I've been fizzing with fury ever since Shell revealed their profits earlier. I am so angry - more than I can find words to express - and how much I resent them taking my money from me every month when I am still in credit, yet they are using my money, invested no doubt in high profit accounts, when that money would be more use to me. Of course, if you opt to just 'pay as you go' and settle each monthly bill by BACS or cheque, you get punitively higher costs than using direct debits. I think we deserve a scream!

It does make one feel very small, insignificant, used and angry @Ladybird4 Definitely worth a scream!

Glad to see that in the last hour or so, BBC have altered what they're reporting - up to £3.3 billion now. What's £500 million between friends :o

    Good day to all.

Pauline, hope everything goes well for you.

We had very strong earthquake an hour ago. It was only 10k away from my town. There is no damage or injuries, but after all images from Turkey, it's very strange feeling. We sent children home, and we will stay in school till normal hours. That was instruction from ministry.
On the other side, it's beautiful sunny and warm day. Weather will stay like this, and I think that cold winter is now pass. I'll spend afternoon in the garden.

That must have been frightening @Ante1, but good that no one was hurt.

Thank you for all your good wishes. OH's BP was very high to start with, despite the diazepam, but it gradually went down during the appointment. They were happy with all his test results, lung function etc. They have ordered loo seats with handles and a high stool to sit on in front of the wash basin and they gave him a pack of stuff to wash with and a booklet of instructions.

The main reason it was cancelled in January appears to be that the roof over one of the operating theatres fell in! 😲 Not only did Boris not provide the promised 40 new hospitals, they didn't repair the old ones.

Hi Bussy. I'm so glad that doctors were satisfied with OH's tests. Somehow I missed information that he has appointment today. Best wishes to both of you.

Good afternoon, and good wishes to all under going, or recovering from, surgery.
The weather can’t quite decide what it wants to do today, alternating between sunshine and grey sky. The breeze is picking up, and we are warned of strong gusts of wind tomorrow.

That must have been a bit scary @Ante1. I remember that a few years ago we had one here but I slept through it and never felt a thing. It was quite deep underground, apparently, but shook the windows and doors a bit, I’m told. We have a lot of old coal mine workings in this area, so perhaps that had a part to play, though it was definitely an Earth quake measured on the Richter scale.

Pilates class went well this morning, then I went off to the SM, which was trouble free, thank goodness and not too busy, despite being half term. Not sure what I’ll be doing this pm yet.

Glad things went well for your OH today BL. What is the new date for his operation? (I know you told us but I'm getting old and I forgot😉😁).

Ante - I do hope that is the last we hear of earthquakes in your part of the world. The images and news from Turkey and Syria have been harrowing and we don't need to see them in Croatia. Stay safe my friend🙂

LB - I hope you and bestie have sorted out a few of the world's problems today - we need somebody on the case!
