Good morning Debs. I hope that work is not too fraught and that your customers are polite.

Morning all. It's misty again today but, hopefully, that will burn off quite quickly and then we should have a nice sunny day. I really must get on with the tree & rose  pruning....

Pauline - best wishes for a speedy recovery and return home.

Hazel - hope the shoulder is starting to ease.

Good afternoon all. Smug face here as I got my green bin filled when it was sunny this morning. It has now reverted to rain outside so I have retired indoors.
Goodness me Hazel - what have you done to your shoulder to cause such horrible pain? I hope that it eases soon and you can be more mobile.

    Afternoon all,

Not quite reached that ever changing date @Ladybird4 :D I doubt that I'll ever make it if they keep moving it further away!

As it was fine, I decided to walk after dropping the car to see how far I'd get before the creaking got too loud! Can't say it was a very picturesque walk. In front gardens and on pavements I saw enough to furnish a house - beds, sofas, a fridge freezer and even a knife and fork :o I'm not sure my litter-picker stick and a bin bag would have been much use.

I got to an outlet of an extremely popular fast food chain after 4 miles and felt like I'd earned a rest and some breakfast. Suitably rejuvenated, I foolishly walked the remaining 5 miles home. Safe to say my knee is now grumbling :o And my feet. And hip. And, oh, my back :D Silly, old fool!!!

Good luck @Pauline 7. It has made a big difference, for the better, for my friend.

Quiet today but tomorrow will be busier. OH has his pre-op assessment.

Great news Pauline. Hope it all goes smoothly for you.
Busy, my friend who had her hip op the day before yesterday has decided that the physioterrorists as she calls them are being mean with her. They had her walking up slopes today but she did come over a bit faint as her blood pressure rocketed. She is fine now though. I hope that your OH's pre op takes place with no hiccups.
Biglad, you'll be fit as a butcher's dog after all that walking. (smile through the pain ). It is disappointing to hear about all the c**p in peoples' gardens though.
