    Good morning to all.

T'bird, have a safe trip and enjoy visiting Germany.

LB, I'm sorry to hear that you have red eye. Hope eye drops will help. I grown asparagus before, and have them in the garden, but this is purple variety, and should be ready for harvest in two years.

Hazel, hope that wind is not too strong this morning. Good luck with presents finding for upcoming birthdays.

Red maple, those are your seeds from Doncaster. 😁

Sunny and fresh morning. I was quite tired last night, and again fall asleep on sofa. Like every morning, pets are fed and it's time for cup of tea.

Wish you all lovely day, and see you later.

Happy February everyone! A good day shopping and then chilling on the sofa watching Downton film that fiancé hadn’t seen. We had a late lunch at a Chinese restaurant so just a few nibbles for tea.
Back to work today for both of us but next week to look forward to. I am so excited to spend a whole week with my favourite person.
We are thinking of a trip to Blenheim palace, anybody been?
@Ante1 I love buying seeds so much potential and now we know Spring is on its way.

    Morning all,

Marti is definitely back with a vengeance - wild out there again.

Turns out my record-keeping wasn't too bad for 21-22. Only about half a dozen match fees/mileages that weren't noted in my diary. I was surprised just how many games and training sessions I'd done. 22-23 will be a lot quicker :o Finally submitted with about an hour to spare. Must remember to log back on to claim what I'm due back :)

Love that haul of seeds that arrived in the post @Ante1. I'm planning to dramatically reduce the collection that I've built up over the last couple of years - trying not to acquire any more until I've sown all the ones I've got!

Not sure what today will bring yet. So many little jobs to do and so little motivation :o

    Morning all.

Wind has dropped slightly but still cold outside. Didn't sleep well at all last night, I was glad,p to get up this morning.
LB, that red eye sounds really sore. I hope it settles down quickly for you and that there's no underlying problems.Hope the eye bathing helps, it's awful when there's something wrong with the eyes. Take care.
Biglad, good on you for getting the tax returns done.
Topbird,, safe journey and enjoy yourself.
Need another cuppa, see you later.

    Good morning all,

I hope that your eye feels less uncomfortable today @Ladybird4 and that the drops are helping.

It’s another very blustery day today, so we’ve postponed our trip to The Deep for another day, we didn’t fancy a blowy trip on the motorway to get there. Might pop out for a bite of lunch later locally, though.

Thats a fine looking selection of seeds you have there @Ante1. I’m sure that you are going to enjoy watching them grow and develop. Yes, I remember you saying that they were coming from Doncaster. I’m like @Biglad though, and still have quite a collection of seeds from the last couple of years that I should plant before buying more.

Have a lovely time in Germany @Topbird. I’ve got family near Hamburg so have been over a few times, and really like it.

Hope everyone has a good day.

I've just had a tally up @Red maple - I've got loads. Unfortunately, the majority probably won't have good germination rates due to age :o I'd be embarrassed to put them on the seed swap thread! Time to formulate a seed-sowing schedule methinks.

Blustery misery here today. Got some tree feller fellas active over the road though. Doing some serious mischief to big, old conifers and guess which way the wind is blowing all the debris :(

I've finally got myself going this morning. Lily's TV has been on and have even got some material things on the string! They may not dry but will get a lovely  blow about. Also have been messing about with the slowly increasing amount of pots we are accumulating. I'm not a lover of a lot of pots, too much watering in the summer, so have decided to plant out a couple and shuffled others around.
Am still chasing up some Fensa certificates from double glazing company for our new windows a year ago. Apparently they are in the system .Wish they'd come out of it!

Just returned from the equestrian centre having had a wonderful breakfast with my sis. It was so relaxing being able to watch a young horseman exercising his horse in the manège whilst we were stuffing our faces. Windows in the café look into the arena. We will definitely be going there again!
Immediately we got back to mine, the rain started in earnest so no futher outdoor activity in the offing just yet.
Red maple and Biglad, I daren't even think about the numerous seeds that I still have.
Hazel, the Dracula look is so on trend at the moment (whatever that means in Ladybird English!!!) but my eyes are not sore at all. They feel normal just look dreadful and reading small print is a bit problematic.
Biglad, worst nightmare for you - every conifer clipping roots immediately in your garden!
