I got a mysterious letter from the NHS today saying I 'might be suitable for treatments if I get coronavirus'. Informing me that the Government will be sending me one pack of lateral flow tests which should arrive in the next two weeks and not to order any more! When I got back from Bestie's a pack was on my doormat.
a) I have never EVER sent for tests (never EVER done one and have no intentions of EVER doing one).
b) I certainly didn't ask for these. What a waste of tax payers money.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Debs, lots of magnolias and camellias are out around me as well as winter flowering cherries. Its all starting to look very springlike. Got everything crossed here that your fiancé gets some more help soon.
Busy, I hope that your NDN does agree to getting some help otherwise they may not let her go home. It is such a difficult situation.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Evening everyone. @Biglad our nearest Morrison's closed last summer, I used to get some bargains in there plant wise. Such a shame that the next nearest one is rather a long way away, but thank you anyway. Gorgeous tulip @Ante1 beautiful colours. @debs64 so sorry to read that your fiance is having to work such an awful amount of hours. Do hope his boss can things sorted and he can go back to his normal working hours. @Songbird-2 Sorry, I didn't know you have been feeling ill lately...and for so long, but glad to read you are feeling better and more like yourself. Take care, sending a hug. @Ladybird4 how is Jack feeling today. @Busy-Lizzie hope your OH is feeling better day by day and not in any discomfort.
It's poured with rain all afternoon and been so very windy.
LB, I got a similar e mail and letter quite a few weeks ago too. It said because I had an autoimmune illness (?) I was eligible to apply for a particular test should I need one and it gave details of how to get it and what to do thereafter. I can only think the illness they refer to is maybe this PR? Might just be a case of being extra careful and prepared should anything happen in the future? What you and bestie are doing reminds me sharply of what OH and his sister had to do when they lost their parents.( within 5 days of each other). It's an awful task and took ages.Much soul searching too and reminiscing. I'm dreading it when I have to do it with mums stuff. Im taking my time doing stuff LB, not overdoing it but trying to get as much done as I am able at the moment. Too too easy to let rip and then suffer badly. Don't want that.
