@Ladybird4 so pleased to hear Jack is home, he will have been so pleased to see you and enjoyed chatting. Hope the rat problem can be sorted soon, perhaps you could take Lily with you next time 😉
Enjoying Unforgotten, but do wish they'd stop having some of the characters conversations partly in English and then in a foreign language with sub titles.......which don't stay in the screen long enough for you to read. Love The Bay series too.
    Glad your wool turned up.
It's poured with rain all day and is still hammering on the windows. Sounds very windy again too.
@Busy-Lizzie glad to hear your NDN is well enough to come home soon. As LB says hope she doesn't have anymore falls. How is your OH feeling, hope the pain is easing.
@Biglad which supermarket did you get your bargain plants in, would love one of the clematis.
Will say night night too. Sleep well everyone.

    Morning all,

It's been wet again overnight to top up the squelchy sogginess :o

Morrisons @star gaze lily - they had a really good selection. They seem to be well looked after as well.

Good morning Biglad and all to follow.

LB, I was so glad reading that Jack is back home.

It's another beautiful morning. It will last till Saturday, then short, but little bit dramatic change with wind, rain and temp drop. I'm glad it will last only two or three days. All my pets are fed and now is my tea time.

    Wish you all lovely day.

Good morning Biglad and Ante and all arriving soon.
Biglad, it poured down here last night after a glorious day. Smug face here was glad the Lily's TV load was all dried and inside before the rain began. I am helping my Bestie with some more house clearance today so fingers crossed we have some dryness.
Ante, Lily is fed and now trying her hardest to get onto my knee for a sleep. Thank you for another beautiful tulip picture to welcome our day.

Hello all. Not read back but will try later. Hope all are well. Having a few issues here nothing major but worries about fiancé who is working crazy hours, 76 hours over five days is unsustainable and he is exhausted. He has given the bosses an ultimatum and hoping things will change it could be a great job but they need staff.
Buses here are on strike so lots of juggling hours and catching buses run by the other company which are infrequent to say the least but managing so far. I support anyone who needs to earn a decent wage but it’s extremely inconvenient

Speaking from experience, that number of hours does take a toll over a period of time @debs64. Hope the bosses listen and act.

I may have a parcel arriving today - couldn't resist spending some of the first wage that I haven't had yet :D Hope the Yodel tracker is better than my experience with the DHL one last year. That kept me expecting imminent delivery for a couple of weeks....

Good morning Debs. I was so sorry to read that disturbing report about your fiancé's exhausting working hours. Was he tempted into this job with false promises or is it just the case of staff shortages? The last thing you - or he - needs is for his health to break down as a result. I hope that you are not too inconvenienced by the bus strikes - one more thing adding to your worries.
Biglad, I dread it when I am waiting for packages as I just know if I go out into my back garden I will miss the courier. I often pick up the emails telling me when they are going to be delivering to me AFTER they have arrived.

I don't know why they bother with any 'advances' in technology until they actually work @Ladybird4. I followed that DHL package day after day as it went from "your parcel is 140 of 150 deliveries" to "your parcel is next to be delivered" to "your parcel will be delivered tomorrow". I could see exactly where the delivery van was on a map. I could have walked to meet them at times. The information was so specific and kept up to date constantly. However, ultimately it was all BS and a complete waste of my time! Their customer services were very similar to a chocolate fireguard as well. In defence of DHL, it's not as if they're a massive global company is it  :D

Fingers crossed Yodel's tracking app is better - my parcel was being loaded at 8.02am so I guess that means it IS coming today. First world problems, eh?
