It was wet and wild here before dawn @Ladybird4 but the blue sky and twittering birds are luring me away from the laptop now...

    It's this one - £2.39!

    Morning all.

It was tipping with rain but the sun has just come out.

I went to the shop in the next village for some milk then the surgery for OH's prescription then I took my French car to the Renault garage to be serviced. They lent me a Clio to drive home.

NDN may come out of hospital today.

    Good morning all,
sunny intervals here and on the breezy side but not cold. Got some cloth things drying on the string outside 😁. Rained in the night, which suits me fine.
Hope your car doesn’t need much doing to it @Busy-Lizzie, and 🤞for your NDN.

    Good afternoon all.
SGL, I am watching Unforgotten too. I will be watching The Bay, later on tonight. When you get something that grabs your attention on TV these days you have to make the most of it because there is so much dross (Ante = rubbish). I must admit to liking binge watching some things.
Biglad, that is a bonny clematis, it is a good 'doer' too.
Red maple, I made the most of the beautiful day today and got a pile of stuff in Lily's TV and, like you, got all the wet cloth things dried and brought in.
My alpaca wool arrived today. It gorgeous and soft. I enjoyed stuffing all three of my nesting material hangers and placing them in the back and front gardens. It will be interesting to see how long it takes before the birds pluck up the courage to take some.
I had a chat with Jack who is enjoying being home but he is quite perturbed as he has spotted rats in his garden going under his decking. Of course, now that Kitty has gone and he loves feeding his birds, they will be hanging around. Neither he nor his daughter could get through to Pest Control at the Council.
Busy, I used to have one of the cars you mentioned. It was a sporty one and I loved it. Good news about your NDN. I do hope she doesn't have any further falls. That news will also bring a little relief to her grandchildren.
